I really appreciate the clear explanation of the "role, task, and context" method for crafting prompts for large language models such as Claude. You summed it up very well when you said, "Providing context will make sure the AI understands the situation and delivers relevant results without over hallucinating." This is so helpful when fine-tuning the output. Do you find certain platforms like ChatGPT or Claude more responsive to this prompt structure than others?
Thank you! I appreciate the comment. Currently, I use both Claude and ChatGPT Canvas, and the output from the prompts works well for what I need it to do. I've tried using it with Gemini and Meta AI, but I learned that with those tools, it's best not to give it too much information, such as a role and task, but just the context. Hope that helps!

Good prompt here. I'll be honest, I've had such great results with Claude's prompt builder that it is my go-to for perfect prompts/templates but I'll keep this in mind.

i just started following you. Thanks for the great resources. You mentioned using a prompt to check for plagiarism.. Do you think it can be as effective as Grammarly? And what would the prompt look like?
Hey, thank you for watching! Nothing will beat having a paid tool for plagiarism checking, but this is what I recommend with a prompt. First, use the free version of Perplexity AI and then add this prompt: Act as a plagiarism checker and review this section from my article compared to the top 10 pages on Google for this topic: [insert topic here] My section: [insert section here]

I’m probably just wrong. I thought you’d provide your entire example! As for coffee, Nespresso is the best..a friend has one, a bit too pricey for me. I’m into cold brew. Your presentation made me salivate for a cup of Nespresso around 6:00 pm….U r good!
Testing, comparing and reliability is the way to test if this prompt is useful or applicable. Testing. Testing in many scenarios. I understand we do not have time so it would be tested in some scenarios. Different topics. Different AI models. Compare. Some benchmark or some other results of prompts should be compared. It could be that by simply using a better AI, one could get better results. For example - Simpler prompts used in Stable Diffusion models generate realistic images. I could here say my prompt is the best but in reality but it is Stable Diffusion the model that was responsible. Reliability This is to see if the model generates reliable and expected results so that it can be used freely and as many times as it can. For example - I used a prompt to generate a basic SQL code. It was a JOIN code. Then again I used the same prompt the next day and it started getting off. There was an error in the generated code when used second time. This is known as AI "Hallucination". I am not a Nihilist, I am not a Fatalist, I am not pessimistic. I derive no pleasure in proving you wrong or laughing at a "Gotcha" moment. I like your idea and I want to flesh it out some more by challenging it. If you created this then I am the first one to believe in you and motivate you to put all your effort as it seems like you are a person who enjoys learning and improving. This gives me confidence that my criticism and challenge is well placed.
@@eddyballe Of course. Will let you know. Thank you for creating it. I still am sceptical about the accuracy of your prompt, about the AI "Hallucinations" part. But nothing that cannot be fixed by telling the AI what's acceptable and not. Keep them coming. Once again, Don't stop. Every discovery is worth it. Every grain of sand has its part in the desert.
I used to do that but noticed AI would hallucinate way more and wouldn't ask follow-up questions. With this system prompt, it will always ask questions before it gets started.
This is a great idea however it isn’t 100% accurate. Claude is trained specifically to use XML. Others are trained to use Markdown. As your prompt gets longer, these organizational tags will be necessary.
Thanks! I personally haven't had any issues, and I've been creating system prompts like this within Claude since I first started using it 💪 I'll check more about XML.
