If you're in the market for a show-quality F-series that hasn't forgotten how to be a truck, take a closer look at this awesome 1959 Ford F100. Fresh out of a frame off restoration, this head-turning pickup features a period correct 292 Ford V8, T98 4-speed transmission, show quality paint and body and a fully restored interior.
The original shape remains in place with no significant body modifications detracting from its vintage look. Despite the lack of modifications, there are undoubtedly countless man hours in straightening the factory Ford sheet metal to near perfection. A glossy coat of GM Flame Red covers the exterior, with no significant flaws to be found.
There is minimal chrome incorporated into the '59 design but what is there is show quality in every way. From the full-width chrome grille to the subtle chrome bumper every piece shines with a showroom quality gloss. Glass work is equally nice, framed in dent-free stainless trim.
Under the hood, a 292 cubic inch Ford Y-block lives between the frame rails. Under the black air cleaner with period correct decals, a Holley 2-barrel feeds atomized fuel into the factory intake manifold. From there, it's sent to the combustion chambers of D8 heads that wear chrome Ford valve covers. The bay is detailed nicely with new hoses and hardware all around. A set of aftermarket headers replace the inefficient factory crossover design.
Underneath, a sturdy top-loading T98 4-speed transmission backs up that V8. When four wheel drive is engaged, a stout NP 205 cast iron transfer case divides power between the Ford 9 inch rear axle and the Dana 44 up front. The suspension has been lifted approximately four inches to better accommodate the large 235/85R16 tires. Braking comes courtesy of dual master cylinders that power four-wheel drum brakes. Steering remains manual.
The interior has been restored to better-than-new condition. New black carpet covers the floors while a bench seat covered in a mix of gray vinyl and cloth offers plenty of seating. The original all steel dash is in place, wearing the same Flame Red as the exterior. Factory gauges keep taps on the 292 V8 from behind a black three spoke steering wheel.
Documentation for this pickup includes an original owner's manual and a Ford-issued service manual for the four wheel drive system.
With its stout drivetrain, tough suspension and jaw-dropping looks, F100's of the four-wheel drive variant simply don't get any better than this '59. Call, click or visit rkmotorscharlot... for more information on this awesome F100.

Back in the early 90's my first vehicle was a 59' 3/4 ton ford pickup. It was in prime condition, a barn find my grampa acquired for his salvage yard from an old lady whose husband drove it up through the mid 70's. We got it running, cleaned it up, etc. Then like a dummy, I traded my grampa for a restored 78' Chevy monza with a V-8 packed under the hood that was drag strip ready. While that car was fun, I still miss my old Ford pickup that drove like a lumberwagon, haha.

Without that cross over pipe and The single pipe then it is not 110% original! The way that Hank built it in 1959.
