1990 Honda Civic Si & 1991 Honda CRX - Kenji Sumino - GReddy Performance【DAI. DRIVES】

In this episode of "DAI. Drives", I visited Irvine, CA to meet with Kenji Sumino, President of GReddy Performance Products. We've known each other for over 15 years, and he's always had an eye for detail when it comes to car aesthetics; these two Hondas are proof of that. Thanks to Kenji-san, I get to drive two of the cleanest, most iconic Hondas from the '90s: a turbocharged 1990 Honda Civic Si and a naturally aspirated Honda CRX, both swapped with a B-series engine!

Such a cool build! Might lack the power compared to what’s available today, but more about the nostalgia of driving your first car or the car you always dreamed of but didn’t have the funds. I guess it’s pretty similar to muscle cars. Nice to see Kenji enjoying the build. Hope to do something like this soon.

Not really, I own a b20 high compression with GSR transmission. At 2,150 lbs being the heavy SI, it moves nicely and keeps up with all the military driving muscle cars on the highway.

That's perfect setup for 90 Si w/ small turBo, forge pistons and rods, that's kinda what I want to do to my 2019 TypeR...make it super Street with what I think feels natural like with just enough of and update that it's Not too intrusive or Loud but with that old Skool handa Sound (any suggestions for cat-back systems) I was thinking N1 by Spoon....I have ebay lowering springs right now but is there suggestion for coilovers to be able to keep my modes adjustable?? Yaa New to this can you tell
