I think Valve tried to do an experiment during Dragon's Hoard like the old Live-Gift model. Previously, between 2012 and 2013 you could buy Action Item like : Shopkeeper's Surprise , Legendary Largesse , Breathtaking Benefaction to be used while playing or spectating games. They grant a random Cosmetic Item to random players in the same game. I thought something like this would happen during professional matches as a different toxicity model, but it never happened. The model was horrible too, you had to buy the seal to be able to use the button "Give Treasure in game" implemented alongside the traditional "Tip" on the scoreboard during that period of the event. Most people who bought and used the Seal (because it counts towards the gold version of Corrier, 11Gifts Send IIRC), used it outside of the matches on the main panel.

Such a cool idea but sadly people just don’t care about those items anymore. Like TF2 secret Saxon, the very original CSGO pallet of presents. I wish valve would sell something like that permanently in Dota 2.

please valve make event or treasure like old dota, i miss thats era, all items or set is like exclusive if u get it, even though it is an ordinary set :')

My brother who doesnt play Dota2 gave me a bunch of keys. I forgot what keys they were but the keys could be swapped to immortal coins. You can choose whatever immortal items inside you want. The immortals i remember were, ES totem, Razor head, Skywrath staff, I forgot the others but they sell quite expensive on todays market. Anyone knows what the keys were? I got a total of more than 300$ after selling them last year

I miss the "level up treasure" which you could unlock I believe every 5 profile level ups. Back when drops were marketable in Source 1. Good shit

Are unusuals obtained by unwrapping the whole set or you get an unusual set from the treasure?
You get an extra unusual item as well as the bundled set when opening the treasure.
Only Dragon's Hoard, Frostivus & Crownfall drop unusuals.
