Please more exercises for the cyst!! I love this video for many reasons. First, the demonstrator isn't talking her head off, and doesn't look all "sexed up" showing off her body (can be distracting and have seen it elsewhere). She is also acting serious, she's not forcing some fake smile, which can be annoying to watch because hey, when you have al lump in the back of your knee you're not smiling, you are grimacing! Secondly this requires no sound so I am sure those with hearing challenges would really benefit from this easily. Love, love LOVE this video. More like it please!
This is so amazing! After my first session, I felt a difference behind my knee. I rewind the video and do the other leg as well! Thank you for these exercises. They are
@Jeannette Thompson I get it! If you have not rid of this painful thing...look at RUclips video BAKER'S CYST TREATMENT, by Inertia Medical. I believe finding a Doctor as so would relieve you of this painful hamburger condition. Hoping you find or have found healing! It is horrible not being able to walk freely.
@@mohammedsafwan8496me too it's painful my baker cyst is getting big ,and I also got osteoarthritis and sciatica, the doctor said it's due to my work as security guard, prolong standing and overused.
How many times should we do one set of exercises? Should the exercises be done only for the leg that has the baker's cyst? Also how many times a day should they be done , once or twice?
Thank you for the video and exercises, however some description would help. How much repetitions do we make, how often is it recommended to do this exercises. What is the minimal time after which should we feel improvement? And also what postures / movements to avoid in order to recover faster ?
Could you please, give us a little bit more information. I mean, you showed exercises ok. But, How many times we should do these in a day. How long we should continue etc.. thanks
I hate bakers cysts! I bought a house last year and have been off work for months because of the baker cysts. I'm pretty sure I have them in both knees but they haven't looked at the right yet. The cortisone shot hasn't worked and I see the doctor in 9 days but doctors don't really care, they just want to bill you and charge you unreasonable amounts of money
I agree. My doctor just wanted to go straight to surgery! I started taking Astaxanthin for mine and keep it wrapped in a compression sleeve. So far so good. It seems to be shrinking. It's a slow process but better than surgery to me.
Thank you. I went to an orthopedic specialist yesterday and he told me, to just leave it, if doesn't hurt. Wished I could have left the 250.00 dollars in my pocket too.🙄
Idk, I get intense nerve pain if anything bumps or puts pressure on the cysts behind my left knee. I'm not sure rolling on a foam apparatus is indicated for that situation.
After doing these exercises my pain is gone and I can flex and extend my knee. I also ice my knee after exercising. Thank you for such a great posting! I was in pain for 1 week but then I decided to do yr exercises and it did work.
Hello All! Read your comments and horror stories. Please look at the RUclips video titled: "Bakers Cyst Treatment" by, Doctor Girmann at Inertia Medical. He is located in Cincinnati Ohio. He do not use steroid shots. Shots DO NOT work. He uses ultrasound to detect what it is, next numbing and draining this painful thing. I hope this video helps you, I am considering going to him. His office have a rating of 5.0, a perfect score and highly rated by his patients. They offer additional services as well. Hope this help many and all of you needing help with this debilitating ailment. Blessings!
@@dalgom_pumkin3037 I just found out I have one also. If you treat the reason you got it in the first place, it should go away on its own. Nothing to be scared of, quite common in athletes. Just see your doctor, and take care of it.
@@nancywilson7368 It SHOULD go away if you treat the reason, but that isn't the case for me. I had surgery a year and a half ago. The baker's cyst went down, but I have to be very careful that I don't do anything to bother that knee, because the baker's cyst just comes back with a vengence.
I have one cyst behind my left knee (it's small) and it's been there for almost a month now. I went to two different doctors and they told me there's no particular reason why I have it, no complications at all. It's probably best to say that it probably appeared either due to exercises that I normally do, nothing too difficult or due to walking. I started treatment 2 weeks ago and I'm on a break with the pills now, I have to come back to them again after 4 days. However, last week the pain stopped, I had no discomfort at all and It went like that for a few days until the day before yesterday when I started feeling numbness again and it gradually built up again. Has anyone else had a similar situation? How did you deal with it? Is it possible that the cyst disappeared just to reappear again (I haven't worked out since I was told I have the condition, so it shouldn't have reappeared again due to exercise)
I have been going through the same issues, I felt as if I was bed-ridden for months. I decided to try a good walk everyday, gradually increasing the distance. Slowly, the pain receded and for the past two months I have been much more mobile and athletic. I recommend keeping active with walking and strengthening exercises at home. Strengthening your thigh and calf muscles is important to take stress off of the knee joint.
Anyone reduce/get rid of their baker's cyst? I think I've got a small one behind my knee. It's not bad, I just noticed a little 'lump' that stuck out a bit, and could then feel the fluid. Though I think I had one rupture the other year after I start doing cardio workouts. I felt a 'pop' like I was hit with a cricket bat behind my leg and then couldn't walk for a night or two. It's kind of annoying as I never used to do exercise, and now I'm trying to do more exercise, suddenly I have one! I'd love to know if others have success in home treatments.

To all viewing this video: There's nothing wrong with the video. It is silent-- there is no audio.
Basically you have to do the exercise with the leg which has problem initially.. after doing some days do the exercise with both the legs.
