Also, I’m pretty sure the rips in his jacket is from his skateboarding! Skateboarding could also be the reason why his hair is SO gelled. I’ve never skated and I don’t have many skater friends, so take this with a pinch of salt, but you wouldn’t want to have a big, floppy fringe whilst skating, right?

Your Sam looks so good but his jacket is actually a hoodie and not collared, and it had some tears in it because his a skater and would’ve fallen, I do think it would’ve been better if it was more worn then tears like the actual sprite has? But overall I love the hair and the piercings, suits his character and personality!!

I cannot tell you how loud I gasped when I saw this on my for you page. I can’t believe we have so much in common (as in us both having appreciations of MLP and Stardew)!! Honestly, all the characters are amazing. Sam is a total upgrade, and you made him look amazing, bit just some food for thought if you ever draw him again, maybe in a scene, Sam is more of the Golden Retriever Adhd boy of the town. He does hang out with the emo boy Sebbie and the goth girl Abby, but he is definitely the optimist of the group. But the character still came out really well, and I’m utterly impressed, as always. Good job 👍

I’ll be honest, I’m not the biggest fan of most of the characters in the game- I love Willy and Linus, they’re the two I actively go to interact with (and Krobus of course). I also think Sandy’s cool- even if her dress is IMPOSSIBLE to figure out 😅
So Maru is actually a lot skinner than I thought she was. Like I’m really scrutinising her og profile after trying to compare it to the new jaw shape and i think the shadow from her hair obscured her face and neck enough for me to interpret her as having more fat there. The dissonance in mental images is kinda driving me crazy rn

For all the people complaining about Maru not having curly hair. 1. Not all people of color have curly hair or dreads, there are those with straight hair as well. 2. She's only half black so she's not going to have every African trait under the sun. 3. Given her more redish hair color she clearly inherited more of her moms hair traits who again is white.
