Loooooved making this gift for my mom! Never done one of these and kinda turned out fire tbh 😂😂 ~ happy holidays!! Looking forward to gifting one of u the bootcamp !!!
Um this was AMAZING lol. Okay my answer: Home should be a safe space! I like to put in effort to have our home that way, not just for myself and my family but also for friends/guests that come by. How I feel most at home, is when it’s a zen space! Taking care of our home (cleaning, good food, good smells, cozy atmosphere) so we can all just enjoy the space together/on our own. That’s when I can enjoy working on art or play a video game or share about our day with my best friend/husband at the kitchen counter over a drink. This was such a great video! So inspiring and engaging. And cheers to whoever wins the contest! ❤
This answer may seem to pushy and desperate (because i am!) but seriously, the moment when there's nothing riding on my back and there is no-one to judge what i am doing. This is the moment of no hurry, i can just grab a coffee, cuddle with my pet, take my tablet and sit on the couch without any expectations, without any remorse of my life decisions of how i should have picked drawing as a career from the get go and all the other thoughts that try to kill me from inside........ Drawing my favorite characters in my style and admiring the piece of i just created even if it's not the best is the best feeling on earth for me, i don't know.. it just feels...... home There is no regret if i don't get the bootcamp subscription but surely if I am honest, I would really feel sad.... I hope I get it..... Love your art Ross!!!🥰🥰😇
I feel most at home, when my mom arrives home everyday after work, and my lil dog is jumping in excitement to see our mom, and I know that they are both safe. ❤ I love them so much they are my world, and give me hope to continue what i love doing, art, even though recently i feel trapped.. but everytime i see my mom and dog happy faces i can forget about my problems for a moment, that's why i feel home when I see them together ❤
I love when my father takes me for a walk in the garden. We talk, admiring the pretty flowers, butterflies, and the lovely pink sky as the sun sets. I also deeply enjoy family dinners, and the friendly disputes over the TV remote. And those afternoons spent playing with my brother followed by the satisfying task of reorganizing our ever-growing toy collection. These simple moments with my family are what makes me truly at home. Being surrounded by my loved ones brings me comfort, love, and strength.✨❤️ Ross you've been a huge inspiration on my artistic journey! Your tutorials are incredibly helpful and easy to follow, and your artworks motivates me so much. Thank you so much for sharing your talent and knowledge with us. Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas!🎄🎉😊
I'm currently writing a romance story, so to answer the question: I enjoy my time at home listening to lo-fi music, while I write down all my ideas, scribble something in the sketchbook, while I also pretend to be the characters and talk to myself. ALSOOO, THANK YOU FOR THE VIDEO ROSS, JUST IN TIME!
I’ve always felt most at home when I’m creating art, especially when I’m lost in a sketchbook, surrounded by my favorite tools. Growing up, I didn’t always have a stable environment, but art was always my safe space-where I could express all the emotions I couldn’t put into words. Drawing brings me peace, and over the years, it’s become my anchor. Being in a place where creativity flows and I’m surrounded by other passionate artists is where I truly feel at home, and I can’t think of anything better than being part of a community that inspires and challenges me. Winning this bootcamp would be a dream, giving me the opportunity to grow and connect with others who share this deep love for art.
What makes me feel like home is being surrounded by the people that I love and care about the most, home for me is not a place it's more of a feeling :) a feeling of comfort and love.
Cloud watching - looking up at the sky and watching the clouds drift by is always a source of comfort, and when I feel the most at peace. Art and creating are huge parts of who I am and bring me a lot of joy, but lately, it’s also been creating more stress and leaving me feeling a little lost. While I still love making art, it’s not the one thing that makes me feel most at home anymore. But when I sit on my roof, away from everything else, doing absolutely nothing, thinking of nothing, but staring at an endless blue sky and watching the water puffs drift by, I feel a sense of calm that I can't find anywhere else. All my worries and negative thoughts just disappear. I don’t know. It just makes me happy, and a bunch of other things (that I won't get into), but it’s definitely when I feel the most at home. Hopefully, that makes sense . 💕💕💕
What makes me feel like home is my Mom. She’s always been there for me. Every time I see her she makes me feel happy. I have Crohn’s and when I was a teenage it was from hospital to hospital (for some reason i liked staying at the hospitals at that time in my life at least 😅) and she stayed with me . Made me feel safe and calm. Made me feel special. I have friends but She’s like a best friend to be honest. I can confide in her everything always . At art classes and then at university (I didn’t know how to drive 😬 ) and she always took me and picked me up and never complained, then Med School also (still didn’t know how to drive lol ). A little embarrassing to say but yeah . Wasnt able to finish Med School sadly though , got too sick and had to leave, so all that money and time, down the drain. Sigh* . I guess I could say I’ve been very lucky to have gotten to share so many experiences and time with my Mom. She’s not a good cook and hates the kitchen but she tries her best. Maybe it’s more bc my bro and I can’t eat a lot of things bc of Crohn’s (no gluten , dairy , no complex condiments, just salt ) but I love her food anyway . So yeah every time I get to have some time with my Mom, it definitely makes me feel like home 🫶😊. Happy holidays everyone ! And Merry Christmas 🎄🎁❄️❄️.
Already got the bootcamp so I’ll just answer because - What makes me feel the most at home is going back to my moms, i sketch in the sofa while she knits. She gots a sweater you signed long ago, she loves your art and watch your videos even tho she does not understand English 😅 Missed you Ross :)
I feel the most at home while sitting in our kitchen with my sister, either drawing, watching something or chatting with her. Actually doing anything with her feels like home, it’s great
At home i feel safe and cosy, able to cuddle with my ragdoll cat whilst i draw and listen to a variety of genres on spotify. I sometimes bring a cheeky snack up to my room
I feel most at home when its a rainy day, I get comfy in my bed with tons of pillows and good book, but then my lil bunny Roberto jumps in and asks for cuddles by putting his little nose under my hand. So we just relax, hearing the rain, taking a rest, thinking about life or nothing at all. In the other hand, I also really feel at home when I go to a picnic with my friends, and theres this moment when everyone is already full, we've talked a lot, and some of us start to take some naps. That dreamy moment when my eyes are closed, I hear the muffled talk of people I love... it really feels amazing.
awesome video! always nice to see ideas come to fruition. As for the question, i really feel most at home when i'm making food for my family, listening to music in a low light setting while my family starts setting the table is such a good vibe. Thanks for the oppertunity of winning the bootcamp, it'd be awesome!
I feel most at home when im surrounded by family (who can sometimes be annoying- but i LOVE them still) and nice and warm in my white bathrobe (bathrobe=portable blanket) 😜
How I feel most at home is sitting by my laptop learning gamedev. As well as taking sometime to practice my drawing in my sketchbook when I find the time to do so as a relaxing hobby. As well as spending time with my improv family. Would never trade any of this in the world. :)
Home isn’t just a place; it’s a feeling. For me, I feel most at home when I’m surrounded by the little things that bring me joy-a cozy nook lit with twinkling fairy lights, the aroma of freshly baked cookies filling the air, and a warm mug of hot cocoa in my hands. It’s in those quiet, magical moments that my imagination feels free to soar. Creating whimsical art feels like home to my soul, where every brushstroke tells a piece of my story. To win this contest and learn from one of my favorite artists would feel like opening a door to my creative dreams. It would mean the chance to grow, to discover new ways to express myself, and to carry that inspiration into everything I create. It would be like adding a sprinkle of magic to my journey-a moment I’d treasure forever. Thank you Ross for all you do! ❤❤
I feel most at home when I'm surrounded by the people most important to me, where I can be myself with no stress. Sitting down at my desk with my tablet or sketchbook is a pretty close second though. Happy holidays, Ross!
My best moment at home is when Friday arrives, I finish my work week at lunchtime and I can draw in the company of my cat and some peaceful music. And in that moment, I also know that I still have the whole weekend to enjoy! 😄
What makes me feel most at home is every opportunity I get to sit down at and dinner with my family. As I'm becoming more of an adult and being in my senior year of BFA in college though I commute to campus living with them it has become more rare that we all sit down and eat together like we've always done. I cherish every moment, especially as we play mario kart weekly together or watch an old show or movie with each other. Love my family more than they may know, I dont know what the future holds and its scary to think one day not seeing them often will be a normal, but I know I can always go back and not only hold them, but also be held❤ Thank you Ross for your videos!! I want to inspire the world with my work, and you are heavily part of my inspiration and artist journey over the many many years. Much love, I hope you have a merry Christmas 🙏
You not only inspired me to draw, you inspired me to put on my favorite pull over. And i'm like 99% hoodie guy. I feel most at home when parents and doggos are all around, there is some food being cooked and I am working through my art source material :)
I feel most at home during celebrations. We always celebrate at my sister's and her husbands apartment with her daughter... Bringing over a daighter from another sister, and a son from another sister, the chaos is unimaginable. But so right at the same time. We're always talking about the good times watching the little kids play around, eating the best food... To me, a huge family squeezed into a not as big living room will always be my perfectly imperfect version of home❤ Love the vid btw ross!!!
Soooo happy you’re back, Ross 💕 How I feel most at home, having dinner with my family whether it’s a home cooked meal or takeout and we’re just talking and laughing 😊
I've never expected you to draw a webtoon lol, I've always wanted to draw one too and maybe this is my sign! Also, I feel most at home with my family, watching movies or eating have having fun. Thanks ross!
I feel most at home when I'm surrounded by soft ambient lighting that makes me feel calm, cozy, and safe. I love being alone (not so much outside though) so having the space and warmth to snuggle up to write my novel and draw my OCs is the best feeling ♡ As a bonus, I also feel most at home whenever my auntie flies over and I can spend a few hours continuously laughing with her, nan, and mum ♡ And happy holidays everyone!
I feel most at home by being surrounded with the people I love, whether that’s my family, friends, or my boyfriend. Home is just anywhere when I have them :)
I feel most at home when I'm relaxing in my room, drawing in my sketchbook while watching DnD on my tablet, or playing an old game that I enjoyed very much while growing up, like Kingdom Hearts or The Legend of Zelda.
How I feel most at home, hmm drawing while watching shows and movies for sure! Definitely a way to be comfy when I have hot chocolate also! When I draw it's mostly character designs that I try to work on but I do try to improve when I can (Just got the boot camp and I'm so happy!!! Thank you so much this discount helped me so much!!!)
Happy holidays. How it feels the most at home to me? Spending time with my family while we enjoy our own personal hobbies or game. A lot of people like doing things together, but sometimes just hanging out together while doing our own thing is nice too.
Firstly, I loved the video (as always) and your webtoon! Secondly, to answer the question, I feel most at home when playing a videogame with my sister with our cat hanging around and judging our struggles (XD). I haven't always been close with my sister and I moved out from home at a very young age but at some point we decided to pick up a game together (I think it was Ori and the Blind Forest) and we've really bonded since then. Nowadays it reminds me that I have a close family member who will always support me :)
I feel most at home when i am able to snuggle in my bed with a thick woolly blanket and binge watching and reading a lot of my favorite anime and manhwa stories
I felt most at home being in my college dorm, the lights dimmed and chilling on my bed. I would do some writing or drawing to help me relax for the day while getting inspiration from the sunset outside my window. It was so relaxing and peaceful while my headphones played Lofi music.
Dude I'm glad you tackled this haha. I feel you on restarting things and omg man it's a pain. I learned that spending more time in the planning phase will save you a lot of headache later.
I feel most at home when I'm just chilling at my pc playing video games, practicing art, or watching videos, while my cat is sleeping in her bed next to me, snoring so loud I can hear her through my headphones, dim lighting, good drink and snacks on my desk, and just vibing, that's when I know I'm home :3
At home I sometimes feel a little anxious, although drawing cheers me up, sometimes... sometimes it stresses me out more hahaha, although always rewatching your videos lifts my spirits a little, and inspires me to draw something.
I live in a country where I can't join the boot camp. and it makes me sad every day more and more. I have so much passion for learning and Ross is my favorite artist. I wish there was a way for me to pay the money and join. RUclips is the only thing I can use. I wish there was a way. remember when I was born in this country, I had no choice. I'm just a human with a bad luck.
This may be a long shot but I wanted to ask if there were any future plans in regards to Nima! A web comic, more animations, another art book? I would just love to see more of it!
I feel most at home when all my string lights turn on at night and I’m just chilling on the couch watching anime with my partner 😄 or when I’ve got music playing while I bake in the kitchen
😂 Kung fu pose lol... I love seeing this as a layout to plan panels. I've been trying to start with short mini comics to get my feet wet before diving into a full webtoon and immediately feel overwhelmed about how to visually lay things out. Seeing it this way looks like it would be easier on the eyes to plan.
This reply might sound a bit cliché since I’m sharing it here (in the comment section of an art video) as a response for your bootcamp opportunity😅 but I feel most at home when I am drawing. It’s the one place where time seems to stand still. Translating my ideas and emotions into lines, shapes and colors feels like having an intimate dialogue with myself. It’s a space where I can be completely free and present. Every stroke becomes a thread connecting me to something deeper- whether it’s a memory or a dream I didn’t know I had. Drawing isn’t just a practice for me; it’s the meeting point between my inner world and reality and, in that meeting, I find a profound sense of belonging. That’s why I consider evolving with my art so important. It allows me to push my boundaries and see how far I can go in expressing myself through it, discovering new ways to create and also communicating and connecting with others.
After a hard period of time of my life, time I feel I was robbed of, and time away from my family… I slowly moved back in, for saving, healing and making up for lost time. Covid just hit and moments where it was quiet, I just made a comfy meal, everything is clean, cozy, I’m at my desk on my computer with a game on, @RossDraws or anime on. It’s surreal, in my old room that I just remolded and made more “mine” with cozy lighting and all. It’s home. It’s not perfect, but I’ve remade it and I’m building up from the past. Trying to find creative outlets and honestly watching your videos back then too inspired me a lot and I learned so much!!! art, games, anime, movies, etc, it’s all inspired me and helping me become more, me. And making home, mine❤
Hi, Ross! Thank you for organizing this giveaway. I absolutely love your art! ❤ I feel most at home when I am in my own world with my art. It's a quiet little world, where I can forget reality and just swim among the colours I use when I'm drawing. That feeling of comfort & peace when it's just me & my art is what I call Home, because that's when I can be myself without being hyperaware of everything else around me. It's just me in my own little Paradise 💜🌌
very cute. i hope she doesnt really call you spoiled! as for the giveaway, i feel most at home around the fire pit in my backyard, with my dog zipping around chasing squirrels while i sit and watch the flames. ideally with good company!
So mu answer to the question is that i feel more at home when i can finally lie on my bed with a snack to eat while i watch some kdrama, that peace feeling 😌
Loooooved making this gift for my mom! Never done one of these and kinda turned out fire tbh 😂😂
~ happy holidays!! Looking forward to gifting one of u the bootcamp !!!
"you suck but you ok" LOL honesty is loving
I thought that was so hilarious, love Ross's mom!
Um this was AMAZING lol.
Okay my answer:
Home should be a safe space! I like to put in effort to have our home that way, not just for myself and my family but also for friends/guests that come by. How I feel most at home, is when it’s a zen space! Taking care of our home (cleaning, good food, good smells, cozy atmosphere) so we can all just enjoy the space together/on our own.
Drawing my favorite characters in my style and admiring the piece of i just created even if it's not the best is the best feeling on earth for me, i don't know.. it just feels...... home
There is no regret if i don't get the bootcamp subscription but surely if I am honest, I would really feel sad.... I hope I get it.....
Love your art Ross!!!🥰🥰😇
Hope you get it!! 😁
Hoping same

I feel the most at home and cozy wrapped in a heated blanket, with my kitty on my lap and a good book :)
That sounds so cute!! Fur babies are the best :)
Being surrounded by my loved ones brings me comfort, love, and strength.✨❤️

As someone who's making a comic of their mother, this is a sign ❤
What makes me feel like home is when I'm making any kind of art sitting next to my fiance :), I always feel safe and cozy
What makes me feel like home is being surrounded by the people that I love and care about the most, home for me is not a place it's more of a feeling :) a feeling of comfort and love.

I feel most at home when I eat with my family and we’re watching a movie together. Food always brings us together ❤

How it feels the most at home to me?
Spending time with my family while we enjoy our own personal hobbies or game. A lot of people like doing things together, but sometimes just hanging out together while doing our own thing is nice too.
yes !!! another video wiiiiiiiii !!!! hahaha i love your work Ross, you are amaaaaaaazing !!!

I feel most at home when I have my mom and some netflix shows on! Fried chicken helps too... Love your process and thank you for sharing!
I feel most at home when I sit down in the couch with a cup of coffee and I just chill watching youtube videos with my dog
This is so nice! Great to see you again!
Lofi music, soft light, no stress, drawing. That’s it. Or a really nice game (no rage ones 😭)
i feel the most at home when i am comfy in my bed with my plushies and especially with my family or boyfriend ^-^ ♡
10:18 aaa i miss the "color dodge" time🥺
Not having the pressure to create art and drawing for fun... Also playing video games with friend while snacking. That's more how I feel like home

I feel most at home when I'm with my sister and we're talking about the craziness of our family 😂
Amazing end result!
My answer: I feel most at home when I'm watching movies on my bed with my wife and dog!
I feel most at home when my family's hanging out together, and I'm sitting with my tablet working on some art.
When I'm with my friends!! Love your videoos!!
3:42 I’m dead 😭
"Home is where the wifi connects automatically" 🥰
At home I sometimes feel a little anxious, although drawing cheers me up, sometimes... sometimes it stresses me out more hahaha, although always rewatching your videos lifts my spirits a little, and inspires me to draw something.
I feel most at home when I'm in my bed under two blankets, plaging video games or making art with anime playing on my tv😌
I'm just a human with a bad luck.
thanks ross you motivated me again 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I love this! Really makes me wanna make one too
When I'm at home it feels like I'm at home love it
Drawing on my iPad 😊
Tnx for giving us energy to draw more 🥰😍❤
This may be a long shot but I wanted to ask if there were any future plans in regards to Nima! A web comic, more animations, another art book? I would just love to see more of it!
I feel most at home when all my string lights turn on at night and I’m just chilling on the couch watching anime with my partner 😄 or when I’ve got music playing while I bake in the kitchen
I feel most at home, when I spend time with God ❤ merry Christmas
I feel most at home when I’m snuggled in the corner of my bed, a bunch of pillows and blankets, either drawing or playing Fortnite LMAOO
Good damn that panels tells the story of my life!!
I need to use photo references I take more often XD camera roll is full of scenery and I never even upload them.
Lovely comic
I feel most at home spending time with my family. Or drawing on my tablet.
Great to see you’re vids again!! 🎉
Hi, Ross! Thank you for organizing this giveaway. I absolutely love your art! ❤
I feel most at home when I am in my own world with my art.
Incredible ☺
