We travelled to Chengdu China on 26 April 2024 to watch Uber Cup Finals 2024. Besides the matches, we visited tourist attractions, tried spicy but delicious Sichuan food, walked around at shopping districts.
This video is Trip to Chengdu EP1, covering Jinli Ancient Street, Wuhou Shrine, Kuanzhai Alley (Wide and Narrow Alley), Qingyang Taoist Temple, Wenshu Monastery (Wenshu Yuan Monastery), and Sichuan Opera face-changing performance.

Great job filming all these attractions.... I feel like I am truly there.
I love the storefronts, gardens, temples, and people respecting the history of the past cultures.
I will watch this video over and over
Thank you for your kind words, it truly encourages me. ;)
How are things?, breathtaking , take it easy,
Hey buddy, I love you, my first commenter :)
Jinsha museum is is child friendly & useful?
It's child friendly, but I'm not sure if it's useful to child, they may not be able to appreciate those ancient ruins, unless she loves history stuff.
How to book sichuan opera? Online?
You can go to Jinli or Kuaizhai Alley, there're tons of bars and tea houses touting Sichuan Opera performance, just walk in, the entry fee is around RMB20, but you may buy drinks and snacks inside. For bigger more serious performances (like the one in our video), I would suggest you book online on trip.com or booking.com.
@@SilentCoupleTravel what is the name of the place of sichuan opera that you watched?
We watched at Shufeng Yayun Teahouse, near to Kuanzhai Alley (but not in it).
