All my old stomping grounds..now living on Vancouver island..until this year thought would get away from Manitoba weather..we broke even this year..🇨🇦..
You could have at least mentioned the new playground for seniors that's being constructed where the old beef gristle mill used to be, and you could have pointed out some of the highlights/benefits of the facility, such as a Full Time Complaining Booth featuring super comfortable recliners to sit in and that would be open all hours (6AM-3PM) seniors would love that, and the wheelchair friendly "Trampoline Terrace Recreation Facility" for the heavily insured senior fitness crowd.
And then if you're wanting to complete some side missions, try some of these things: - a night out on Corydon street for eats and beverages. - a tour of many ethnic restaurant's in the city - if you're brave come experience a real Winnipeg winter in January/February - dinner on ice - Skating on the Red - stay at the haunted Fort Garry Hotel - Sunday night cruising (summer) - purple city - tweaker bingo sargent/ellice - romantic night walk through the north end.
I will be seeing everything on this list, except number 10. I am super excited. Unfortunately, I visit in June and most theatrical performances are closed in June.
Better than the national geographic video but still not good. Selkirk? Swan River? Native powwows? Roots? Camping? I'm coming back to visit and hopefully remember the location of the areas we tree planted about 20 years ago. Mafeking woohoo, great memories. Spent over a month and personally planted roughly 25,000 trees in various locations. Swan River felt like home. Ppl in Mafeking were like family ❤️ and a great time golfing at Selkirk G&CC

Very nice, clean, safe city. The people are kind, generous, friendly, etc but also just incredibly boring.
If you honestly believe that it's safe,
