    Chris simms does bring up a good point. JJMC never once started drama or any sort of issues because of his “smaller” stats. He is the ultimate team player. He just wants to win and that’s the only thing that matters in the NFL

      It's hard to know at this point. If JJ does start, he will have a lot of weapons to throw to. Justin Jefferson, arguably the best WR in the NFL, routinely puts up 100 to 200 yards a game. And the rest of the WR room is pretty good too. The TEs are solid. And the RBs are good and can catch the ball. I expect that whoever is the Vikings QB will put up big numbers.

    The most important down in football is the Touch Down. 2:24

    • @redt7452
      @redt7452 24 дня назад

      That is true but 3rd down is also a very close second or maybe even 1st depending who you ask. You can’t get a TD if you can’t convert 3rd downs.

    Raider Nation since 1967:
    I think it's nuts to rank untested rookies over any proven NFL quarterback.
    Rookie quarterbacks sign a second contract with the drafting team only 45% of the time. Some of these guys ranked higher than actual NFL quarterbacks will be a bust. It has happened too many times already, and it will happen again.

    • @redt7452
      @redt7452 24 дня назад +1

      Yup. This is legit every single draft. They hype up all these kids like crazy and a lot are picked way higher than they probably should have and bust and the media just rips them apart. The media and fans need to really rip apart these dumbass teams and GMs that don’t even know what type of kid they’re drafting

  • @user-iq6cc3df3l

    I think that JJ might have a better arm than advertised. There’s a video where he rolls to his left, jumps and does a 360 - 2 Pi for math fans - and before coming back down launches an out. It was complete although out of bounds which isn’t surprising under the circumstances. But I calculated it was 35 to 40 yards in the air which is impressive considering it was all arm and he was in the air when he launched it. To me though JJ is a bit of a wildcard. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s a much better NFL quarterback than people think he’ll be, or if he bombs. For some reason it’s a bit tricky to get a good read on him. (If I had to bet I think he’ll work out well as a Viking. That’s the best I’ve got today.)

    • @redt7452
      @redt7452 24 дня назад

      Honestly, every draft pick selected is a wildcard lol. All these scouts and GMs may think they know what they’re looking for but in reality, no team does. the draft is a massive crapshoot and to hit on a Mahomes or Brady like QB is straight up luck in my honest opinion.

      @herbb8547 24 дня назад

      It's called a best guess. No one really knows how a QB will do in the NFL until they get there. The game is faster and much more complicated in the NFL. Some QBs catch on quickly, some take a while, and some never can. There are so many variables that play into it. Ability to read defenses, release time, ability to improvise, arm strength, ability to stay focussed under pressure, and much more.

      No one has been promised the starting QB job in MN. All the QBs are going to have to compete for the starting position. That said, Sam Darnold may very well win the job. I personally think it would be hilarious if Jaren Hall, a second year QB, were to win the job.
