Hi, I'm interested in pursuing a career as a video editor and VFX artist. I'm currently skilled in Premiere Pro and After Effects, and I'm also learning Maya 3D. However, I'm not sure if it's necessary to learn 3D, or if my current skills are enough. What should I do to figure out if 3D skills are worth learning, and where can I stay up-to-date on industry trends?
Great! If you wanna make your VFX next level, you can learn 3d it will help you in this. For staying up to date you can check and follow some pages or artists accounts on social media.
Hey i am really having a problem in element 3d but i cannot solve it can u help me out actually my 3d model is getting behind my video footage even if i tracked it using 3d tracker whenever i try to copy the positions its always getting inside my footage help me out please😢😢
If you want a job, find a company where you wanna go and learn the stuff which they are using in their pipeline. Summary: You have to find a studio who is using Blender in their pipeline
These flying cans looking a bit fake, don't know why. Maybe because of lacking indirect reflections from buildings or maybe they are too bright? Also shadows are not so good, too sharp (look at real leaves shadows - they are softer). Overlapping shadows from real footage must blend in to CGI shadows seamlessly, not multiplied.
