I checked, it seems the first release was also this 'vinyl' material (a Polyamide composite) - Soundwave himself was mostly ABS plastic though, as is it's re-issue. MS seems to phase the material out after their Devy. No idea why this re-issue misses out on the Frenzy re-color and Ratbat though
These are well worth picking up.
These guys are _so_ good for their size, and they're pretty good value.
and this is older, 'normal plastic' MS too.
