I just hooked up Surf Lnk Media II to my cable box. All worked well until I inserted a movie into my Blue ray DVD. My TV picked up the audio from the DVD, but I was still receiving the sound signal from the TV in my hearing aids. Do I need another cable to my DVD? Is there a simple solution. Not being able to hear my DVDs defeats the purpose of this streaming device.
Basically, this has nothing to do with your Surf Link not working properly. It sounds like an audio routing issue. Depending on how your components are connected will determine where the surf link should be connected. Most of the time you run the audio cable from an audio out port on the back of the TV. You may also have to review your audio routing settings in the TV menu to make sure the audio source is assigned the appropriate video source. Best advice is to talk to your local provided and bring in as much info about your TV setup as you can...pictures of back of TV, make/model # of TV, and a list of the components you have connected. Without all this info my advice is kind of like shooting in the dark. Sorry I couldn't help more.
I have read in multiple places that the Media 2 can be set up for multiple people can listen consecutively to the same music. How Can I get this to work?
That would be settings in the hearing aids themselves that are accessed and set by your provider. Starkey hearing aids that are compatible with the SL Media II can be set up to automatically connect or they can be set to manually connect whenever in range of the Media II. Does this help?
@@HoranFevoldHearing yes this is helpful. So we will just let people know that we have this available and they can then connect to it if they wish. Thank you.
@@HoranFevoldHearing I think I have the answer to my main question.... I have found conflicting information on whether multiple people can connect at the same time. I think we confirmed with the company that multiple people can connect at the same time. Do you know how many can connect consecutively?

I am not aware of a specific limit. I've had as many as four.
