No wonder why Bucking Bulls have a short life these days. They have a ton of trips on them before they are even big & mature enough to have a rider on them. If you wait until they 4 or 5 years old & bodies are grown & have matured. They will last a lot longer & there would probably be alot more Bushwacker type Bullls on tour. Most Stock Contractors going today don't have a clue what they are doing. The PBR is becoming 2nd tler in the Bull Riding world. The Brazilians are the only ones that can ride the Short go real deal buckers.
I guess you have never heard of JB Mauney, as a matter of fact, he has riden more World Champion Bulls than any other cowboy in history. HE IS AMERICAN as well. Know facts before you open it up. Thanks.
Unless Im badly mistaken, bulls have been trained like this for a long time. Has ABBI really changed the number of trips *that much*? In which case, perhaps there should be limits on the number of trips bull calves can have? But darned if I know how you could enforce that....
Been watching...agreeing with you. Denali, for one, was sore on his off shoulder, sure hope he heals. And he isnt alone, had the same feeling of gimpiness during the other stops as well. Disappointing, especially with PBR setting better welfare goals.
Way to go ABBI

Bushwaker competed as a 2 year old So he’s not a good example to use
