Hah, I thought I was the only one with this idea. I don't carry photography cube, travel, but travel packing loading suit case style, through wide open back panel is just a winner. My current favourite is Patagonia snow drift 30. haven't got it yet. But seems to check all boxes the best
I know you did a review of the Osprey Tropos, but I was just thinking if not the Osprey tropos, or the new Osprey Radial wouldn't fit your needs (almost perfectly)? It's not a back access, but with the standing ability and the top access, it should solve the dirt against back issue. Radial seems quite nice too with its ability to expand from 26-34L
My mindshift backlight 26 seems like it might be a little too small but the 36 might be perfect. That said, I am an outdoor photographer and use bigger lenses than most people . The 26 liter might be just right for most use cases.
I sure have. Might need to go back and look what they have to offer. Do they have a 28 L rear access? I feel like the last time I looked, they did not.
This video is amazing. I photograph skiing...and needed this EXACT topic... this is absolutely perfect. Thanks for this!
Excellent points, thank you as I have been considering the same things

Great video, love the Mindshift hack 👍 did you manage to take a look at one of the Osprey snow sport packs yet like the osprey soelden?

Maybe you can try GREGORY Compass 30. Newer version has water bottle pocket.
I guess you should try the NYA-EVO 36 or a Gravel Travel 3-in-1 system
Have you looked at F-stop? There’s a whole world of adventure photography bags.

I thought from the beginning, that the best option is a mindshift, just trimmed down.
That is what I would use.
