- On this second day around Port Of Spain, we got to walk around the biggest roundabout in the world, the Queens' Park Savannah. This area holds a diverse range of things to see in Trinidad and Tobago.
We wanted to eat at the food market stands that are right in front of the National Museum and Art Gallery, but it was closed, we don't know if it only opens at night time or it was because it was New Years' Eve.
We continued our walk and saw the Botanical Gardens, the Zoo, and to our biggest surprise, a castle. The Stollmeyer's Castle, the Archbishop's House, the Mille Fleurs, the Hayes Court and the beautiful and stonishing building that host the Queen's Royal College.
There is so much beauty and history in Port of Spain, from the Spanish time to the British, to its own story of how Trinidad and Tobago was founded and built to the beautiful place it is today.

En este segundo dia en Puerto De España, nos fuimos a andar por la rotonda mas grande del mundo, El Parque Savannah de la Reina. Esta zona tiene una gran diversidad de cosas para ver en Trinidad y Tobago.
Queriamos comer en el mercado de puestos de comida que esta en frente del Museo Nacional y Galeria de Arte, pero estaba todo cerrado, no sabemos si solo abren de noche o si era porque era nochevieja.
Continuamos nuestro paseo por los Jardines Botanicos, el zoo, y a nuestra sorpresa, un castillo. El castillo de Stollmeyer, la casa del arzobispo, la Mille Fleurs, as cortes de Hayes y el maravilloso y precioso edificio que es la universidad de la real reina.
Hay tanta belleza en la historia de Puerto de España, desde los tiempod de los Españoles, los Britanicos y su propia historia de como Trinidad y Tibago fue fundada hasta el precioso sitio que es hoy.

Our last day in Trinidad was on New Years' Eve, unfortunately, we found a lot of things closed, but we went out for a walk and we saw the Botanical Gardens, the Zoo, and to our biggest surprise, a castle. The Stollmeyer's Castle, the Archbishop's House, the Mille Fleurs, the Hayes Court and the beautiful and stonishing building that host the Queen's Royal College.
There is so much beauty and history in Port of Spain, from the Spanish time to the British, to its own history of how Trinidad and Tobago was founded and built to the beautiful place it is today.
How long did it take you all to walk the whole roundabout? I love walking.
@@elizabethroblyn1392 it took us about an hour. I love walking too (Maria) but my husband was complaining all the time 🙄 hahaha but it was a nice walk. Just be careful there are some lonely areas

Girl that dog almost gave you a heart attack. Sorry you had to starve a bit but you can get that McBEATDOWN and ice cream cone. LOL.....Port of Spain is gorgeous.

Hey Mamuchos!!! Great to see the Port of Spain in Trinidad, that is so funny that Lieles takes his towel everywhere with him!! It must be crazy humid there. LOLOL!! That round about was awesome, and massive, we have never seen one that big before around here, but they're not common in LA.
We just learned that it's the second biggest, there's one in Malaysia that is bigger... Maybe I should take Lieles to walk that one hahaha

We went to 3 different places. We didn't show each place, but finding that McDonald's never felt so good lol and we don't necessarily love McDonald's but we were hungry
If u are in Aust during Xmas Day, everything is closed including supermarket so we feel you 😆
But I expect Christmas day and New year's day to have things closed, but eve?? That's the day of preparation and fun!

@@mariaandbryan Bird is back at home, and we are making all of her meals for her for the week.. so it's a lot of work. She can't eat a lot of sodium because she has Congestive Heart Failure. So all we can do for her is make sure she eats well, to help reduce the fluid that rests around her heart!! Love you guys!!!
