What did you think of this year's Liège-Bastogne-Liège? 🚴💨
I love that Pog tells everyone where he is going to attack and then just drops the hammer. It seemed like Richard Carapaz was the only guy on The Reduote brave enough to try. I have to admire that.
Remco trying to keep up with Tadej on the Redoute is what I want to see. Maybe next year.
Women's yes, men's not much
@@diogo10borgesmeh
I really enjoyed the Womens race. Not only cause an Aussie won but nearly every womens race is entertaining . Chappo to Kasia luv watching her race. Definitely not on the Pog wagon, never will be.
Enjoyed the chat between Tadej and Matthieu! Nicest fellows to grace the peloton since Dan Lloyd retired.
It's all a front with Dan, but Tadej and Matthieu are genuinely very nice.
Got to love the Pog - attacking sitting down!
Don't mind admitting I shed a tear seeing Niewiadoma win. Fantastic
I cried a river. What a cyclist and an ever better human
Bardet has a really nice podium photo that will age quite nicely
Brown saving the crash and then winning amazing. Ashamed to admit when I saw that I said "There goes her top 5." Blistering job tk prove me wrong. Amazing win
Pogi🐐
Thanks "La Doyenne "....Dan , and crew . Great race/s .
Our pleasure!
They are both different and both dominant in what they do best.
Thanks, Dan
whoa loved the opening montage song!
Pogi in a league of his own 💪🏻
His chemist is, yes
@@whatwelearned- You need to look at his youth results if you think he’s doping. They were as good as his pro results.
If you’re about a cycling fan, why even bother watching these videos?
Just to troll?
@@Liofa73 It's precisely because I'm a cycling fan that i know my history and don't give everyone the benefit of the doubt.
@@whatwelearned It's just your doubt, not supported by facts and evidence. Look, we can all accuse, but without proof it has no value.
@@Nescio527 Haha okay how about a 62kg guy suddenly turning into Ganna in time trials? How about him and Vingegaard putting out 7w/kg for record breaking durations? When you see these guys doing what even Armstrong et al couldn't do, do you just think it's their diet?
Tadej heading towards the most incredible season of all time!!
Because his opponents have broken bones, Yeah!
@@Mike-rm1lb thats racing. Pogi still wouldnt have been beaten yet regardless
what else do you think he'll ride / win?
@@aerobibsMilano-Sanremo👀
@@gcnracing surely hes gotta try the triple... Giro, TDF, Vuelta!
Wow that intro music!!!
This is simply the best cycling show right now..
Chris horner is doing a fantastic job as well.
Thanks! Anything you'd want us to do more of?
@@gcnracing Yes actually.. please push the management so we can be able to watch The BrakeAway show in the territorys that Eurosport/Discovery+ doesn't broadcast it now..not even on demand. It was very convenient to get access to it on GCN+. Why can't it be broadcast live on internet?
10 race days 7 wins 2 second places
I think even Pogi is caught with MVDP and others.. he can make it all the way to catch the peloton then attack in La Redoute. Maybe 20-30 sec winning margin to the peloton.
What you have seen at 01:08 is often happening on my bike. I don't know why and nobody can explain it. The chain fells off the big sprocket to the outside. It's a Shimano DI2 12 speed. Everything double checked... it's a mystery🤷♂🤔.
Sounds like chain stretched or out if line
Most times I've seem this, the derailler was too high,
ideally the outside of the derailer needs to be only 2mm from the teeth of the big sprocket, its really close,
this way the chain can't pass the derailer.
Yes, what PaolrobertAS said. Derailleur is probably set too high above the big ring, or…you are using non-round chainrings. Try having a different, possibly more experienced mechanic take a look at it.
@@PauloRobertoAS This might be really the root cause. The derailer sits "very high". I will try this out, thx alot for the hint 👍!
@@prestachuck2867 Thx, I will try this out as I posted as answer to PauloRobertoAS. Sound very promising 👌.
I think it’s fair to say that the one-sided dominance is boring, but it’s hard to be outright impressed by the level of dominance on display. Times like this should encourage the rest of the field to innovate with their training and tactics, which is good for the sport.
What tactics would you like to the the peloton try out?
Would be cool to see you guys comment on the MTB World cups and the Lifetime Grand Prix races, you go to Sea otter and you don't comment on any of the racing there.
Isn’t that the area of the sister Global Mountain Bike channel?
@@Liofa73Not gravel racing. Gravel is the new road racing in the US, and it is more closely related to road than to mountain biking.
There are almost no road races other than crits in the US now. All the North American riders who used to do long circuit races and road races have switched to gravel now.
That MVDP season though...man
And after a CX season......
Pog being 25 & Mathieu 29, of course.
Because of the crash MvdP and Pidcock could not be 100% anymore to follow Tadej…
Either way, neither of them could have kept up with Pogi. Not a chance...
Should have been at the front then.
That’s what happens if you hide in the pack. Crashes always cause splits. Besides, MVDP came third. He wasn’t doing too much work to get it back together.
It's sadly part of racing, and a skill in itself (positioning in the pack)... Pidcock also chased back to the group in a very different way to MvdP.
為什麼所有自行車比賽都有自動翻譯中文卻沒中文字幕,是怎樣?是中國人就不能看字幕嗎?
I think it takes more time to save the subtitles... try later maybe!
What?
I decided to make a bike ride about two kilometers after Pogacar stormed away on La Redoute. It's a boring monument year but at least my fitness is benefitting
😂 net win then
Im really worrying about the Giro. Looks like the Pog will win it by 10 mins and take about 6 stages. its been a very dull classics season. Just hope the grand tours can save the season but i doubt it.
11:57 thanks me later
0:45 a bit tense... MvdP is terrorized by Pogacar for some reason.
I don’t think so, they have their own strengths. With this much climbing Pog was always going to be favourite. He also had a strong team with him.
Why do you call him VDP when his name is obviously MVP
You have to wonder why all these cyclists are suddenly having cardiac issues. Very sad to see, indeed. But nobody seems to be willing to "follow the science" and figure out why it's happening!!
Around 5% of the population have heart arrhythmia diagnosed. It’s quite likely that more people experience them but aren’t aware as they don’t regularly have their hearts tested. Cyclists are therefore more likely to have such irregularities picked up than most people.
There are 236 riders in the women’s World Tour. So you’d expect up to 10 or 12 to be diagnosed with arrhythmia to be in line with statistical expectations. As far as I know, that isn’t the case.
Suddenly? Cyclists have been dealing with cardiac issues for years. A cardiac event happens every season and little coverage follows. Sonny Colbrelli had the most dominant season and then a heart attack at the finish line and had to be brought back to life. He’s not a cyclist anymore. You never hear a word about it and it just happened not long ago.
@@chrisrodgers4950 yes, I think I'm referring to the last 4ish years.
@@johnwestwell2241 yes, but which 5% is that? Are those in that 5% historically between the ages of 50 and 80? Yes, historically, the vast majority of cardiac arrhythmias are diagnosed in the 50-80 year-old age demographic, not in the very healthy, young athletic demographic of the population. That's what's new. And, again, nobody seems to want to talk about why suddenly athletes like Colbrelli, Sagan, and multiple others are either dropping dead from cardiac issues or strokes or being diagnosed with arrhythmias like this. And it's not just a novel phenomenon in cycling either. Track and field athletes are being affected as well! It's sad and needs further investigation!
@@chrisrodgers4950 Yes, I had a rowing coach who was diagnosed with a heart irregularity. He didn't stop competing, and he died at a fairly young age (back in the late 80s or early 90s.) Just sad.
Next Generation of Dopers right here!
bs comment right there
100% true. Average speeds surpassing the Armstrong era and no one raises an eyebrow? Diet, tech and training were also excuses when Armstrong et al were juiced to the gills. Pro cycling has always had doping and always will. Accept that fact and enjoy the racing.
honestly, it might be true, who knows. but there’s evidence of doping all across professional sports. pretty much all boxers and mma fighters are full of stuff and there’s also evidence for tons of football/soccer players, swimmers and runners. so i guess we just have to stop complaining about that stuff cause it’s part of the game. i don’t like the pointing fingers for cycling exclusively
@@lovemesomedetail absolutely no way cycling is the only dirty sport. All sports are cuz humans will do anything for a victory, more and fame.
@@lovemesomedetail enjoy as the super humans smash the records of past super humans who were Dopers. Ofc course it's the training, diet, Tech 😂
it's too bad nobody is going after these guys like the dopers who were their predecessors, imagine if one of these guys who is racing out of humanity and dominating everything was a brash cocky arrogant American from like Texas or something, I wonder if anyone would be trying to catch him cheating or something. /rolleyes The levels of hypocrisy in this sport never ever seem to disappoint.
The guy has won 6 Monuments and 2 TDF in his 70 victories, and you still don’t even know how to pronounce his name. Look, it’s Po-Ga-C(h)ar. Why do you keep saying Pogatchar?
Is it some sort of British jealousy thing? You correctly pronounce the “j” as a “h” for Alejandro Valverde but for some bizarre reason can’t say “ga”!
😬 suggest you don't listen to how Dan mangles the word 'catastrophic' at 14:51 then...
@@gcnracing No. I made sure this feed never appears again in my RUclips suggestions.
I think it is very disrespectful to mispronounce people’s names. I can understand not being able to say Primož correctly as the ž is not an English letter. But when people can’t say “ga” that shows either disrespect or a deliberate way to not saying it properly.
I’d bet Dan would never pronounce the “s” in Paris-Nice, right? Imagine how horrified fans of cycling would be in repeatedly hearing Paris with the “s”.
