So glad I discovered your channel. I'm an American married to a Brazilian and we are considering just moving to Brazil permanently. We're currently here for a 1 year stay just to see how we like it. I was wondering how you deal with taxes. I would love to see you do a video on this as you've been here for a while.

I’ve never really thought of living in Brazil or central or south America. But with work life balance it makes so much more sense to stay on this side of the world but I’ve fallen in love with south East Asia but the year I was there it was tough doing the late and overnight work schedule

Yeah it’s easy to fall in love with Asian countries. I’ve had Japan, more specifically Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto on my radar. I know it’s crowded during late march and early April but I really want to see the cherry blossoms there. Thailand and Indonesia are definitely on the list too.
But you’re right I can’t imagine working at like 2am! Must be nuts 😮. Being only 1 or 2 hours max ahead of employers and clients is so clutch. I think 2 hours a good sweet spot, that’s why I love daylight savings in Brazil. I can do so much before 12 PM and still be ahead of emails and the rest of my day where I have to interact with people in the US or Canada on Eastern Time or earlier.

@@RockyinReelTime yeah honestly bro you really making me consider checking out more of South America. So far my plan was to start applying for tech jobs in Singapore since they are the same time zone as Bali and mainly English speaking. My goal is 3 years from now move back full time to Bali. I’m hoping to get an rpa developer job within the next 3 months to get out of customer facing roles.

Thanks for watching! I can't imagine charging for any of this information. There's a million things you have to know and be aware of while living abroad, the content you can make is literally endless. The only thing that stops me from posting more is the time and energy 😅

      1. Start with CS50 from Harvard here on RUclips
1a Take MIT’s free course on Algorithms here on RUclips
      2. Learn some Algorithms theory from the book “Algorithms” by Robert Sedgwick, you can type the title, then add free pdf in google to find it
      3. Follow Free Code Camp on RUclips they have hundreds of vids
      4. Follow Traversy Media on RUclips as well
      5. Learn Data Structures and algorithms from Abdul Bari on RUclips
      6. Choose a specialty once you’ve finished this
      𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱:
A Cloud Guru (not free its $50 a month but they get you ready for most cloud certs)
      𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁 𝗘𝗻𝗱:
FrontEndMasters.com (not free but an EXCELLENT Resource for front end for just $40/month)
      𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗘𝗻𝗱:
Hussein Nasser has an excellent course on back end on udemy (add to cart then wait for their $9.99 sales)
This is a WHOOOLE topic and it’s really dependent on what sub specialization you want to enter because there are plenty. The ones I mentioned are just scratching the surface.
