I was wondering how you deal with taxes. I would love to see you do a video on this as you've been here for a while.
I’ve never really thought of living in Brazil or central or south America. But with work life balance it makes so much more sense to stay on this side of the world but I’ve fallen in love with south East Asia but the year I was there it was tough doing the late and overnight work schedule
Yeah it’s easy to fall in love with Asian countries. I’ve had Japan, more specifically Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto on my radar. I know it’s crowded during late march and early April but I really want to see the cherry blossoms there. Thailand and Indonesia are definitely on the list too. But you’re right I can’t imagine working at like 2am! Must be nuts 😮. Being only 1 or 2 hours max ahead of employers and clients is so clutch. I think 2 hours a good sweet spot, that’s why I love daylight savings in Brazil. I can do so much before 12 PM and still be ahead of emails and the rest of my day where I have to interact with people in the US or Canada on Eastern Time or earlier.

So far my plan was to start applying for tech jobs in Singapore since they are the same time zone as Bali and mainly English speaking. My goal is 3 years from now move back full time to Bali. I’m hoping to get an rpa developer job within the next 3 months to get out of customer facing roles.
