But just to share I have seen some Japanese Once offering their prayers and wishes for Twice to be safe from COVID and to be happy on my visit in Hasedera temple in Nara a year ago. My Once hearteu was so touched seeing it written on the ema/wooden plaques they hang up on the shrine. It was so out of the blue but such a simple but selfless and sweet gesture. I am proud to be a Once.
it's not that impressive actually. We don't know the accuracy of her translation. I watched some of her translation and I know a little bit of Japanese. The translation sometimes would differ a lot from the original meaning, but she is doing a pretty good job on translating the overall context (which is already good, cuz this is just a concert). But I guess that's the reason why translator is an actual job.

Oh I remember when Twice has a concert on PH, the translator was given a whole stage applause after Nayeon talks for long sentence without a pause (for the translator). Damn right that guy deserves the applause!
