Thanks brother for this video ❤. I've just solved this same issue, I adjusted the rod on the clutch pedal like you mentioned and now it returns fully, before it would only come up just past half way then I would have to flick it up the rest of the way. Thanks again 🙏🏻
The process to bleed the clutch is intense.
Anyone watching this video @6:30 is key because this is what kept happening to me. I the snap back was causing me to believe there was still air in the line but here Jake says adjusting the trunion/pin to the pedal linkage and. Forcing the clutch to disengage earlier in the pedal stroke could fix the inconsistent pedal press and depress.
Im going thu the same same
Bro, I had my master and slave cylinder replaced about a month ago on my 05 FXT. My issue pops up like once every two weeks where my clutch pedal will start sticking, and gradually drop down right below the bite point, and only have like 2 inches of travel. But if I keep driving it like that for 10-15 mins, the issue literally fixes itself and I’ll gradually get the pedal to start springing back. Then it’s normal again for a while. Do you think this is the cause of improper bleeding?? I’m stumped just cause the issue corrects itself lol
I’m not sure but it definitely sounds like there could be some air in the system! It’s super easy to bleed it and not get all the air out
