I had the blessing of working with Paul on a small Disney Film called "Meet The Deedles" back in 97 or 98. We were the climbing rangers. He hung out with the extras and was THE most down to earth guy. No pretense. Just Real, funny, sweet, respectful to everyone. Little did i know what he would go on to become and then how his life suddenly ended. I cheered as his career grew, so proud of this handsome young man that was so kind to all of us, and the path his life followed. And so devastated when the news of his crossing was heard. EVERYTHING you hear about him, His authenticity, his caring, his compassion, and those piercing blue eyes and oh that gorgeous smile, you think he looks good on camera, you should have seen him up close and in person. But as exceptional as his genes were, his heart was everything you ever wanted to meet in another human being. The world lost such a beautiful spirit when he crashed. The world lost the energy of kindness and adventure and just all around goodness. Paul is still missed every day by those whose path he crossed. I'm sure he didn't remember me or the others personally, but I am also sure that if for some reason our paths crossed and I'd reminded him, he wouldve hugged me and asked me genuinely how i had been. He was personable to everyone. I cannot imagine the pain of those close to him that lost his soul that day. May his brother's family and his namesake be blessed with all the joy they can manage. May meadow always understand just who her daddy really was. and is. And may all his loved ones find the grattitude to know how fortunate they all were to be special enough to be in is life. NMRK
