On February 27, 2015, The Noble Awards honored the work of Celebrity Humanitarians and recognized the organizations that they support. The purpose of this unprecedented event is to inspire individuals to become champions of social progress.
Paul Walker was posthumously awarded in the Disaster Relief category for his charity ROWW, (Reach Out World Wide) a network of professionals with first responder skill-sets who augment local expertise when natural disasters strike in order to accelerate relief efforts. His brother Cody, who stepped in to run ROWW after his brothers tragic death, accepted the award on his behalf.
The award was presented by Tyrese Gibson and Michele Rodriguez

Do you know what saddens me? That people like Paul, people who contribute to the world are becoming less in numbers and now silly things like selfies, twerking, showing off wealth is now the trend. Sure it can be fun but without those people who contribute, the world wouldn't be what it is now. And for that, I thank those special people.

So touching and emotional to see Michelle and Tyrese praise Cody for not only to help finish Furious 7, but also for continuing Paul's work with his charity. This only proves that the Walker family are the best people this world has to offer and I am certainly planning on supporting this charity...Not only due to Paul Walker's legacy, but because I too want to make the world a better place.

Let me say, I have never seen any of the fast and furious movies, so I barely know Paul Walker besides hearing his name, and this made me tear up quite a bit. Knowing that such a genuine, kind, giving, and thoughtful human-being had his life taken from him too early is really heart-breaking to me. God bless all of his family and friends who so dearly loved him. RIP Paul.

When I first seen this and found out Cody was a paramedic in Oregon & how Paul loved going up the PNW, just touched my heart even more knowing I was born in California as well but raised and lived in Oregon pretty much my whole life. My biggest goal is to have a platform where I can collaborate with ROW with my own foundation inspired my Paul and also hands on help with ROW. Paul was my first crush and will forever be my crush yet my #1 idol/inspiration for why I wanna do what I wanna do. He inspires me to spread love everyday. We love and miss you Paul. Especially if they are doing the same things to make an impact. It's just crazy that they all won't work together to make one big impact. They all have the same end goal, make the world a better place for the one and only race, the human race.
