because this was in august 2010 she didn't go to treatment until halloween 2010 plus she died her hair black just a few days before treatment as well
she's so down to earth!!! she doesn't need a fancy party!!! all she needs are family,friends, and fans... I wish i could meet her. Oh yeah....don't forget the chocolate cake!! XD

It's so sweet that this is how Demi spent her b-day. just cuz miley had a party with her friends doesn't mean that she isn't thinking about her fans. Did you forget the HUGE sweet 16 she had? She let her fans spend her night with her, when she closed down disney land and she performed for them. Since when is it not okay to have a private life too, and to actually party..on your birthday? (I'm not saying miley's was better, i'm just making a point that miley made an effort to be with fans too.)

@TitsMcGee351 im a 25 years old guy. I listen to metal and rock, but Demi is very talented. I saw one of her concerts by chance and i think she rocks! no stupid coreographies, backup dancers, etc. Just her and that awesome band.
I feel kinda bad for her. It's her birthday and she has to spend the day infront of cameras, paparazzi, and bodyguards. Who wants that. It feels like she's pretending to happy for the camera but seriously, who wants to spend their birthday with a bunch of people you don't know. i dont want to get in the middle of your arguments, but i do wanna say something. some of you say demi is on drugs. first of all she may have gone to rehab but that doesnt mean shes on drugs. i mean look how beautiful she is. if she were on drugs, not even makeup would hide it. second of all, some people make it seem as if she were on drugs just cause shes a star. being famous does not lead you in a bad direction. doing drugs is a choice made by you only. it has nothing to do with being famous.

It looked like she didn't feel like eating so she ate the frosting off the candle :) I think she was tired and it was two months before rehab this happened right? so she prbably was tired and like "aww i wanted to be with my friends but hanging with my fans is good too". She is awesome! :)
