7:26 Thank you for doing this. I am a seasonal worker at a nursery. We are so exhausted but love seeing the excited shoppers.

I bought some dirt for a raised garden bed. They dumped my load of dirt on top of fire ant mounds. Guess what next season my veggie bed is now a fire ant metropolis.

Don't plant ivy unless you have the time to upkeep and restrain it! It can look very nice in a potted plant grouping, but if you put it in your shady bed, don't turn your back! The same is true for virginia creeper, japanese honeysuckle, vinca major and pepper vine. All fine-looking plants, but vigorous spreaders.

All good advice, all of which I follow, particularly native plants, I have found that hybridize plants don't last more than two seasons in my garden found out the hard way with expensive hybrid echinacea, should've stuck with the native plants, however soil conditions can vary in your state, I live an area where the soil conditions very, I live in area with heavy clay and rock in the mountains and have talked to others who have very sandy soil, good advice enjoy the video.

If you find a plant that is root bound consider yourself lucky. If it was repotted in a larger pot it would cost up to 5 dollars more. When you get it home cut a half inch to an inch off the bottom before planting and watervwell.
