Jinjer is 4 members - all with exceptional talent. How they mesh together is the secret to their sound and why people are always impressed with their music. There is no weak spot - whatever instrument you watch, you see mastery. They are best known for their live performances. I saw them last November and I will never miss a show again if they are within 3-4 hours of me.

The musicianship of this band is off the chain. People always notice Tati, but Eugene, Vlad, and Roman are all equally amazing in how they pull such complex music together. They are always spot on.

you never know where a Jinjer song will go. :) As others have said, their concert performances videos are where the shine the most. Perennial live at Wacken or Pit of Consciousness live in Kiev (Kyiv) are nearly opposite ends of the Jinjer hardness spectrum but are both excellent pics. One in the middle that is amazingly great but sometimes gets forgotten is On The Top live in Kiev (Kyiv) with great belting and the same upgraded stage setup as PoC. Cheers@

Jinjer is best experienced live. I've seen and met them. I gave Tatiana a Cookie Monster shirt.😁BTW, Tatiana isn't trained at all. Self taught. Tati is a smoker and drinker and has said she doesn't do warm ups before performing. She is a gifted writer too. Always check out the lyrics. 💙💛

Jinjer is one of my favorite bands.
You know that every song by Jinjer is pulling me like magness! When it comes to "Teacher, teacher" the song is about how one student was slaped by the teacher, who seems like selfproclaimed preacher. It's just another student's protest song against teachers, because they might be fools too. Still this song can be understood in different way, that I don't want to mention. XD Great reaction! Also next on my list of favorite songs by them should be: "Perrenial" Live at Wacken! :)
Nah, the whole Catholic school paradigm in this song is just a metaphor for not trusting authority just because it's calling itself authority. Argument from authority is one of the major logical fallacies in all of philosophy. (edit: "I took a look around, there was no sanctuary - desks empty, the school was all imaginary)
No training she taught herself that's one of the many amazing things about Tatiana. You need to keep going down this rabbit hole you won't be disappointed
Tatiana trained herself from what I understand, just going through life singing, growling, screaming, all the time. She is unique because nobody else learns like that. Her one take Judgement (and Punishment) is impressive. If I had to pick a 2nd it's Melissa Boney hands down. She recently left Rage of Light but has several cool songs there. She is still in Ad Infinitum and also has many solo songs and covers that are awesome. Check out her cover of Liar Liar by Kamelot or the rage song Mechanicals. She doesn't do as much harsh vocals in Ad Infinitum but it's still great and I love the bands costumes... Enjoy!
That's the absolute capper to her legend... not only is she world class in all her vocal modes, she's self taught. Truly, a freak of nature, in the very best sense.

Tatiana taught herself to sing and scream and growl. She said she’d practice by screaming into a pillow and go out to the road and scream at passing cars.
I hope all in the band are safe and doing well. I heard the boys were fighting in Ukraine. I hope things there end soon and all are safe and can go back to making their own special brand of music.

Tatiana is self taught. She learned growling by screaming at cars after hearing otep when she was a teenager
went to shows in oct/nov, they were great... kinda hate that damn purple guitar when he has such awesome ones, but had the best time... these guys are so fucking good... i haven't had a favorite band to add since like deftones korn system of down first part of their careers.... this is the first to come along in roughly 2 decades for me

She is a talented singer no doubt. But there is nothing uniquely special about this. It's just a technique. Many female metal singers are doing the same. Male too. And there is no danger for the vocal cords because this is done in a different manner not relying entirely on the vocal cords directly. They can do it for hours and their voice is fine.
