R.I.P. Kevin Williams and Stuart Thompson. Both young lads who I knew well from Formby. Kevin always popping in the shop I worked in each morning with a smile and a jaunty walk for his 'Kola Kubes' before school and his Roy of the Rovers comic each week.Stuart the 'quiet man' who said not a lot but always looked thoughtfull. A great loss.
Seen this comment 4 years later, shame it's so much later. I don't support Liverpool though they are local to me, as I am actually from Formby myself. Got to give credit to these amazing fans though, as every time I listen to "You'll never walk alone" it makes me emotional. May Kevin Williams and Stuart Thompsonn continue to rest in peace, men from my own home town.
The music brought this sobbing old widower to a standstill. I lost my wife in October, and the sadness and loneliness never ends. This is beautiful music that is literally from the angels in Heaven. Thanks.
To those that passed away, at Hillsborough on that fateful day, Now looking down on us with smiles so proud, You sing with us as we sing aloud, You help us, guide us, see us through, We know Istanbul was down to you, And though the future is unknown, One thing is for sure, YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE R.I.P to the 96 JFT96
Same as with my nephew. He loved football and got so excited when he was kicking a football around or when football came on the tele. He absolutely loved his Liverpool kit and would sing "You'll never walk alone" when giving cuddles all the time. He was only 19 months old when he passed. My sister had "You'll never walk alone" played at his funeral- along with a video of Joshie singing it. The song will always make me cry but it also makes me smile remembering just how much Josh loved the sing and I can picture him and hear him in my head singing it. Precious memories. Thinking of you x x x
I've never heard a song that can portray such emotion or bring you to tears just by listening to it, even if there's no special reason for it to be sang. The 96 though make this more special. The sound was less of a hearty song but a song sang with the determination not to break down in tears. With the latest news though it seems the lost have been vindicated and maybe have their day in court. When I listen to this song I wish I was Liverpudlian and have that real connection to this song and Liverpool's history., Liverpool was and is such a great source of talent and I love going there.
My dad's ashes were scattered on this field and this song was uses at his memorial. He died on the soccer field 10 minutes after getting his last goal at the age of 68.
+JackCentralYT yes, but that's not the field he died on. He died on a local soccer field at a park where some of his ashes were scattered and my mother took the rest to Liverpool and the groundskeeper scattered them. She was not allowed on the field herself.
Walk on! Walk on! With hope in your heart! You'll never walk alone! This words made me cry every time I heard them. Liverpool fans really best in the world i think. I don't like Liverpool, but Hillsborough... It should have never happend. Rest in peace all of victims of this disaster.
I love this song so much. Im playing it at my darling moms funeral this week. R.I.P my lovely momma, you died too young but she loved the reds all her life! xx
Wow that brought tears to my eyes. I was 18 when that happened I’m 53 now. It was an unnecessary disaster we will all never forget. May they rest in peace ♥️
I'll always remember the manner in which Liverpool Football Club, the Team, the survivors & those that lost some one on that awful day have conducted themselves since that terrible day. I know that we at Celtic FC stood shoulder to shoulder as did everyother football team RIP to the 96
How is it disrespectful? Maybe they clicked to see ''The best version of You'll Never Walk Alone'', because this sure as shit isn't the best. Even though it was a horrible tragedy, this was absolutely awful.
This is why we support Liverpool. For the community. The love. The respect. Rip the 96. You will live on in our memories forever because you will never walk alone.
As an old West Ham fan, I'm sitting here to-night with a tear in my eye, listening to You'll never walk alone, god bless all those 96 souls who died so tragically, supporting one of the best teams & supporters in the world.
Im R.Madrid fans but when i listening this song my heart always touched. Big respect from me for liverpool fans today 1 - 4 it's not a least 💪💪 #halamadrid #ynwa
When you walk through a storm Hold your head up high And don't be afraid of the dark At the end of a storm There's a golden sky And the sweet silver song of a lark Walk on through the wind Walk on through the rain Though your dreams be tossed and blown Walk on, walk on With hope in your heart And you'll never walk alone You'll never walk alone Walk on, walk on With hope in your heart And you'll never walk alone You'll never walk alone

Credit Liverpool fans for still honouring this beautiful tradition. Forget what teams we all support, it's a huge show of respect for 96 people who lost their lives that only grows year on year.
I'm really late. but we watched this in class after reading a ballad written about this, and I've been a united supporter all my life and I'm literally in tears now.
A long time fan of LFC born in the "Pool" now in Canada but watch every game. The justice for the 96 was long in coming but the striving for it brought Liverpool fans across the world together in support of the families who lost loved ones at Hillsborough. I am always moved by the singing of "You'll Never Walk Alone" at the start of every home game, but this particular rendition by the fans was deeply moving and I have sent a link to all my friends who are LFC fans. +Dazzler Giardelli Let us hope so. The jury have a lot of deliberation to go through before the verdict is given; it needs to be absolutely right this time so that the people involved finally, hopefully, have justice.
There are so many words we can say but the one thing we can all agree on is this no matter what team you support YNWA! From America and LFC supporter god bless the 96.

Say what you want about Liverpool. The fans who attend the games are PROPER supporters. Anfield is a special Atmosphere. And this particular video is an extremely special one.
This song, resulting from the genius of Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II, from their second musical collaboration, "Carousel," and was meant to be every bit as inspirational and emotional as it comes out. I am certain Messrs. R & H would approve of the use of their song in this case. One cannot make it through the song with a dry eye, it's just that powerful.

+JackCentralYT I wrote soccer instead since most the people I know in Canada would confuse it with that stupid game, American Football.
+JackCentralYT that is not funny man
May He Rest in Peace🙏
