The point of this video is not about making a million dollars using a go pro, but instead, he's telling us how to step out of your comfort zone and do what you love, take a risk and live your life. it just so happens that it worked out for him and it made him a million dollars.
And he was simply lucky that new Technology released that presented such option. Its not like I can do the same thing he did today, since now theres thousands of people doing it
That was inspiring. I'm have been in the medical field for 20 + years and I have loved doing photography and video since I could remember. I have had camcorders and cheap cams for the longest. But after looking at hour and hours of review on cameras, gymbols, lenses, & well you get where I am going. I pulled the trigger on the latest gopro and now I have armed myself with enough info to get the gear I need to the type of stuff I want to film. thanks for the inspirational words
yeah i live this struggle everyday. i just dropped my phantom 3 today, gladly it still working just fine. I'm a lawyer, so the pressure of the work is relieved by making videos, i do however have to point out i'm starting to feel pressure to make new videos aswell. i'm slowly transitioning to a new style of videos, enterely in english, in a new channel
That's awesome you are a lawyer. My cousin is a lawyer in Brazil and loves it. It's so important you find a release for the day to day stressful life of work. The pressure does build up with the videos. I took a step back for a while and had to figure out how to do it smarter and easier to make it more attainable. I short break sometimes help to get a clearer vision on your future of your channel. Sorry about your Phantom and congrats on your new channel. :-)
I have the DJI mavic Air 2 and the gopro 9. I haven't used them yet When I spoke about earning with a drone, my uncle (God bless him) rolled his eyes at me and said to keep working in the steel industry.
Why not? I mean, nothing is ever going to work EXACTLY the same, but please tell me WHY it won't work for me to make $1 million with a go-pro today. Thanks
It's much easier to "make a million dollars" when you're one of the hand full of people to use a new technology which creates a much larger demand. Today millions of people have a GoPro and/or Drone with 4k capabilities, and the competition is much higher. It's like when I first started designing web pages in 1997 before WordPress and hundreds of other "quick" building websites were around. I was making 6 figures a year "doing what I loved", and learned coding on my own. Today most web designers are lucky to make $30K a year working like a dog. I'm doing something else that I love making plenty of money, but the point is it's not always easy making a lot of money "doing what you love", but even more important, is if you're doing what you love then it never feels like work in the first place regardless of how much money you make.
Ok, so millions of people have a drone and or a go-pro today, why is that keeping YOU from making $1 million with it? I've owned businesses since 1995. Before that I was interested in this 1 thing..... through all these years and everything I've done, I've never done this 1 thing. I just recently thought about it and decided I was going to put it to rest.... too time consuming..... but after seeing this video, I see how I can be different than anyone else doing that 1 thing I've always wanted to do. And by the way, that 1 thing is not a $1 million business, it is a multi-billion dollar industry and would bring in more than $1 million for me.
As long as it is what you love it's worth it! Dang! You got a lot of subscribers!!!! Awesome work! You definitely know what hard work is! Greatness!!! :-)
Haha....No, I have made over a Million by only using a gopro at the beginning of my career. Most of that money has been re-invested in the company and employees. The point of the title was to grab the attention of others to hopefully inspire them to also follow their dreams no matter their barriers in life. If I were a millionaire I would have to have at least a million in the bank and I don't. :-)
Bruh I like your style and video I am doing exactly what you are doing except not on your level. I'm not able to quit my job but I'm staring to gain momentum on my channel. I subbed and looking forward to more of your stuff... Have a great day.
I have a mavic pro and an a7ii and between work and kids and wife lol time is limited but one day im gonna do what you did. I have TONS of footage and pictures just no time to put it together lol. Great story man you got a sub fo lyfe from me.
Sure thing! Hopefully, that is what this video did is inspire. My hope was to inspire people just like you and remind you it's not the gear, it's the passion. When I started this adventure I had no money and I did not have a professional camera. All I had was belief and an idea. :-)
My focus now is on learning as much as possible and saving cash to get a little better on gear. the dslr camera and a proper gimbal will make things run smoothly, next should be either a phantom 4 or the new mavic pro 2. I still havent thought of a camera that i could just strap to my rig and film motorcycles on autofocus to replace the go pro on the front shots, but im still looking for it. My plan is to try to get to at least 50k subs till september, need to increase the revenue before thinking about it as a turning point for a new direction professionally. Have a great new year, your channel rocks with info and good humour👍
I bet something happens in your near future that opens up the opportunity to get the new gear. I just got the DJI Osmo Pocket and it has blown my mind. It would be great for the motorcycle stuff ... depending on how fast you go. The gimbal probably won't handle super high winds. Keep crushing it!!!
@@BrianAiken thanks man, yeah i wont go over 40 km/h, its just for low speeds, i just want a better dynamic range than go pros or my phone. i switched to davinci resolve and this was primetime for me, turned things wayyy easier than adobe crashing every now and then. i like when people share their way up to where they are, thanks for that
@@BrianAiken the osmo pocket is a great device, ive watched quite a lot of videos about it, the downside is that i dont feel the range of it would exceed the expectations i filled using a gimbal and my go pro together already

Brian Aiken u should have released this when the million dollar challenge was out lol I just had a genius Idea! Im gonna adapt the hero7 to my mavic pro, fly around everywhere, edit it with masking, transitions, match cuts, etc. Fix the curvature of the 4k 60 in premiere, time travel back, release the video... it goes viral! I become a multi millionaire and get set for life! (Side effects may include exposure of time travel, arrests for somehow having 4k 60 and unheard of features, and other stuff that idk 😐) maybe im not a genius
I was told by eveyone not to leave to navy and just do another 10 for that pension. Im happy now and broke lol. Not for the reasons people may think but because I moved to Hawaii for a fun life
Easy to make that much money when you're one of the first to do it. Now everyone owns 4k cameras and drones and everyone claims to be a photographer or videographer so the market is flooded now
Your video is decent but I have to say it is I have seen these things and then I saw them. Seen and saw two different words. Also, how in the world did you work in banking at JP Morgan and left it after 10 years with only $1000? Unfortunately I know bankers and you either did something wrong or that’s just a false claim.
This was confirmation!! To leave my job.. and make more than 7000 a year in a warehouse full time and custodial work part time 7am-10pm no weekends... GoPRO #BigPlayGoingPRO

What's stopping you from using them? Start, and I'll subscribe and like every video.
Another great video!
you should rename the video to:
"How I MADE a Million with a GoPro"
Because this wont work today, the way it worked for you ;)
Exactly. Like winning the lottery. If it was that easy, everyone would be a millionnaire.
Why not? I mean, nothing is ever going to work EXACTLY the same, but please tell me WHY it won't work for me to make $1 million with a go-pro today. Thanks
