Intro was fire!
YCImaging 😁😁😁😁. The bosss
Hello YCImaging ...... 😁, Love your channel too
Totally Agree
Absolutely
Bruh you're literally in every video I watch
Good points. One thing that came to my mind in terms of wedding videography is this: it's a sinkhole.
When you're starting out, do a few weddings and realize that you're making good money, often much more than your friends, it's hard to stop. You start to rely on these weddings, because you didn't have time or, frankly, feel like branching out. Out of nowhere comes burn out, because these things are just so repetitive and out of the sudden you find yourself grinding these things non stop, desperately looking for some other form of video-centric employment. But nobody really wants to hire the "wedding" guy for a serious project...
Not saying this is the standard, not saying everyone ends up like this, but I've seen a few of my friends struggle... So just beware and stay creative ;)
Definitely true
This is definitely a good thing to point out and be aware of. This is exactly why its important to diversify your portfolio!
Absolutely me. Only way to start to branch out - doing free projects to prove your talent until you start getting hired.
This is what killed it for me. Take a few years for the fire to come back. You couldn't pay me to do a wedding now.
@@soyllpapi942 Good to know you're back in business! Hope you're doing other, more inspiring projects ;)
The intro reminds me that having a REEL is also really important in order to showcase your work to potential clients with just one short video. Thank you for the amazing video! I felt really inspired!

True
Only 0.0000001% will earn money.
@@nnnnnn3647 why do you say that?
@@BlakeDavis42 I know this industry. It's not like you come off the street and start working. Success will be achieved by a percentage of those who will start this business.

Would love to see a video on how to stay motivated when starting out as a videographer! Good content tho!!
@@fulltimefilmmaker Thanks bro! Appreciate the feedback!!
@@fulltimefilmmaker this advice saves me from quitting right now ;)
Just start shooting, do it as a hobby rather then expecting big payoffs, and eventually, by practicing it that way you can start earning, here and there. That's what i do! My videos are by far not this level of quality, but each one i make is better then the previous, and i already got a few gigs!
@@fulltimefilmmaker ✅✅✅✅✅👍👍👍
I focus on WHY not HOW . I started for my mental health I’ve always enjoyed photography and dabbled in video but now I have my son’s preloved iPhone SE .. I’m loving learning. If it I start stressing I stop .. then I’ll be out and think ooo that would make good content- all the best to you 🙋♀️

Great as always

I never heard of story blocks till now, thanks! Will click on the link so you can get your tip :)
Agian great video, love the ftf course!
My first client ever… $25 grad shoot…
Second client the next year $70 grand shoot…
Third client $70 grad shoot same year….
The most recent one… on my my tutors/friend had a sister getting married, he asked me to shoot it for him…. I told him I’ll do it for free since he has done a lot for me…. It was a 2 days weeding… the first day I shot the videos and the photos…. And the second day … the main event… I asked him what he cares about more, the videos or photos and you guessed it right, they cared about the video more, so I told him he should hire a person for the video… he hired one of my friends for the video that charged him $800, yah my friend is a professional that’s why… but when I got done with the shoot that night he handed me a check saying it’s nothing much but my parents said you worked too hard and free doesn’t sound right, and the check read $300! I guess $300 is better than free! And after that I have been asked to shoot about 4 weddings and other shoots too but I always doubt myself and tell myself the pics won’t come out good so I just tell the clients no,,, cuz usually it’s friends and their friends and I don’t want to mess up their events! But Im gonna get started again cuz I guess you get what you paid for haha!
Perfect!!
That intro is ridiculously good!
Thanks for this video!
Really good video! Thank you! 😊
Man that was helpful.🔥
You guys are brilliant I’m gonna buy these courses when I get my money up more
