    as a 55 year old white guy from idaho, i was never that big into this hip hop mumbo jumbo. But this travis scotch guy really hits different! He's speaking the truth and standing up to all this mumble (c)rap liberal nonsence! He reminds me of other real rappers such as tom macdonald, ronnie radke, and 50 percent of logic

    I think a big reason why things like astroworld get forgotten or pushed away quickly is due to the over-saturation of tragedies. Any bad event gets everywhere due to how easy the internet get info out to people. Even if you don’t watch any news, you will see people discussing things that happen on the internet. And to be honest, I’m not necessarily mad that people aren’t making a fuss. Not because I like the tragedy, but it’s impossible to fully care about every issue. That’s due to the over-saturation. There’s so many bad things I hear about, and if I tried to invest my emotions into all of them, I would just be depressed. But I fully agree that we shouldn’t let him walk away from it. But I’m also a person that believes people are able to change, and I can learn to forgive people, or at least not spend every minute thinking about their negatives. I’m able to dislike the stuff Travis did, and his bad handling of his event, but also be willing to listen to his music and believe he can redeem himself as long as he doesn’t do any other stupid stuff. I mean I would be a hypocrite if I didn’t listen to Travis because of his incident, since I listen to some rappers who were literally affiliated with gangs. I mean there’s not really that big of a gap. That’s arguably worst.

      People died. Is not an innocent mistake you can learn from. There was a child in his concert and is no longer with his family. With all the great rappers that exist, and are going to come, I think we can not listen to him anymore. Is insane how people got him a passed

    • @BurningBlaze55
      @BurningBlaze55 Год назад +9

      @@lol858lol your completely valid for thinking this way. I’ve been told I try too much to see the good in people. Again the tragedy is undoubtedly the fault of Travis. I can’t listen to his music without thinking about that a little bit. I Can’t really explain why I don’t entirely hate him either. Like I said, I guess my only reason would be hypocrisy. I listen to 50 cent, who was known for dealing drugs and being part of shoot-outs. Which he chose to do with 100% knowledge of what he was doing, and still chose to do it. Travis was careless, and it was avoidable, but at least he wasn’t actively trying to hurt people. It was more poor planning and not caring about the proper safety. How can I listen to a former gang member and drug dealer, but dismiss someone who poorly planned a show that ended people’s lives? Both are bad for different reasons, but I’d say at least on equal levels of bad. Again this is all pointless, so I’m gonna leave this and let our lives move on. I hope my reply at least gave you a better insight to how I think about it. Again your valid too.
