    There isn't a single "special" adobo recipe in the Philippines. Adobo itself is a national dish with many variations depending on region and family tradition. Here's a basic recipe for a delicious pork adobo:
    Ingredients:
    * 1 kg pork belly, cut into cubes
    * ½ cup soy sauce
    * ½ cup vinegar
    * 1 whole head garlic, bruised
    * 1 onion, sliced
    * 1 bay leaf
    * Whole black peppercorns
    * Cooking oil
    Steps:
    * Heat oil in a pot over medium heat. Brown the pork belly on all sides.
    * Add garlic, onion, bay leaf, and peppercorns. Saute until fragrant.
    * Pour in soy sauce and vinegar. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about an hour or until the pork is tender.
    * Serve with white rice.
    Tips:
    * You can adjust the amount of soy sauce and vinegar to your taste preference. Some people prefer a saltier adobo, while others prefer it more sour.
    * You can also add other ingredients to your adobo, such as potatoes, carrots, or chilies.
    * If you want a thicker adobo sauce, you can mix a cornstarch slurry into the pot towards the end of cooking.

      Ya I've noticed the variation depending on region. The one my mom taught me had sugar in it and I'm in central Luzon area. My older sis is now living with her hubby in the south and she said their way of cooking other foods be a bit different. Especially when making lechon paksiw.. XD
      My mom would just let the adobo stew away to evaporate the liquid and you end up with a lovely thick sauce because of the sugar and ofc she added potatoes in it. I just use a pressure cooker coz RIP gas prices.

    Hi takumi it's good that you appreciate our country. BUT if you are really authentic, you should learn our language and be fluent on it someday! Learn our language tagalog and speak it. If not, you're just using Philippines for clout and views and for money which is disrespect for our pride.

      I was just thinking about learning Visaya or Tagalog😏 Things are coming😝

      @@takumi_senpai next time video you should at least speak tagalog in complete sentences not just a word! Make sure you are serious learning our language. Complete sentence while speaking not just a single words.

      @@takumi_senpai I'm saying this because a lot of foreigners are using filipino to gain views and clout chasing. They are not genuine because they use our country for clout. They don't even speak tagalog. That's disrespect to our country if you don't learn our language while making video about our country. Have a nice day. Language is important!

      how rude you are😒u can't dictate what others if what they do or not,,as u can see he started to learn bit by bit,,don't judge it right away,,Be nice atleast, he's young and trying to live alone and survive, why u talk like that and pushing him like learning tagalog or any local dialect right away
