So thrilled to see this return visit to the chateau! This is like when you have a delicious dessert in front of you and you can’t eat all of it in one sitting….watching this and digesting one scrumptious bite at a time! The “jewel box” room is so incredibly visually appealing, the way the cushions on the couch mirror the golden frames of the paintings, the coffee table edging, fireplace screen, etc etc all throughout the room…Timothy Corrigan’s attention to detail is AMAZING! Thank you for this lovely visit!

I have checked, waited, repeat, several times a year waiting for this by Tim Corrigan! Tim, thank you for surviving a pandemic and bringing us this treasure! I love the green room with all the mirrors. I love the yellow room with all the reliefs and outdoor fabrics, the furniture, the art, and pillows. I don’t use sculpture nearly enough! I thought I had too much in my house. I need to rethink that. I could use teapots as sculptures, since I have 20. I love what you did with your porcelain room. The chapel. I love it. Our 14’6” great room walls were just painted pink with a blue sky last week! Whew. Timothy Corrigan may have painted busts. I edited a book for an artist whose daughter’s bust by Charles Adrien Pillars, internationally known sculptor, was terra cotta painted white to look like a marble. This Chateau has been in the back of my mind since your fantastic 'before' tour. What a thrill to see this video pop up! I've been an avid fan of 18th and Early 19th Century buildings, interiors, fabrics, clothing, and objects 'd art since the age of 12, many long years ago. (Amadeus and Dangerous Liaisons are my favorite movies) Those images are lodged in my psyche, and I can say, without a doubt, that Timothy has nailed every single one, even the most subtle. The modern touches (thought leopard print is actually period) he has included blend in so perfectly, keeping with the philosophy of balance. With so much original detail (I adore those secret panel doors), it's a joy to see how well each piece works, and the colors excite without jarring. (It was fun to hear that paint story; we picked what looked like a sand color for our library/computer room, but the morning sun turned it into "gag me with a canary" yellow, lol.) For me the stand out details are the green room with the vintage mirror panels, the bamboo motif cabinets in the china room, and that light fixture with the eagle and stylized lightning bolts, though I'm still processing. And don't get me started on the gardens! That fountain brings me visions of Chatsworth! People often say they are envious of you, Susana (and Stacy) staying at so many wonderful homes, but this must surely be the pinnacle! The two of you (and Timothy, the Master of the visual) have made my day. Cheers to you all !

My friend adored the before and after videos, and texted me the next morning that she had dreamed she was wandering the halls there. Incredible !!! What a mammoth undertaking ! As an artist with an extrasensory visual gift for color, i have had a number of consultations with designers about "the perfect color" and must point out that Timothy is not alone when it comes to beating himself up over color decisions. The fact that they are professional makes them think "they should know" when in reality, our world is huge with so many variables in everything, AND the fact that technology is always in flux especially with color, which makes modern living even more complex for the designer !
His explanation of a certain yellow in an English atmosphere will totally be different across the water in France is testimony to his talent and open mindedness to always be open to learning....and probably why this guy is a genius with living "this" life. Really love this guys creativity AND massive amount of what seems endless energy ❣Once again a beautiful & huge success of profile from Quintessence ❣ Thank You ❣

This is one warm and inviting chateau , as a human being you can live in ease. It’s timeless sophisticated, and elegant that welcomes each room with fabrics, textures of object all over the world. Timothy Corrigan imagination of design is incredible. You are one of my favorite designers. I pray to God I could meet and talk to this incredible talented designer.

From all the chateaus out there, this decoration is the most beautiful I've ever seen. This man has good taste. He nailed the colors and patterns. He really has the know how of how to mix materials. I'm saving this video to watch more times.

Thanks for going back - I found his other vid on the house too...but I always love your interjections. I have to say, I had NO idea one could become so dazzlingly wealthy from Interior Design. That Tim has been able to restore one chateau after another is nothing less than astounding, and with such, well, perfection. I can equally understand how it would be possible to do that well given the level of attention he's paid to literally every corner. If I were a fabulously wealthy client, I have to say, I would probably see if he would design for me as well. To take it on though, that's the hardest aspect to imagine. Literally gargantuan despite the relative good condition of this one. Anyhow, thanks again for taking us back through. I've been waiting for all this time to see what he'd done. Nothing about it disappoints!

Waited for this “after” video, ever since I saw that “before” video, 5 years ago… and IT DID NOT DIAPPOINT.
Dare I say, it was worth the wait. You must do a room by room before and after for everyone to appreciate Timothy’s Midas touch.
Please let Timothy know that I gave him a standing ovation in my living room after watching this video… so he better take a bow.

I remember seeing a video of this chateau when he first bought it. So glad to see it all restored. The architectural elements in this beautiful place are outstanding. And, I love how the gardens have been restored and enhanced. Truly beautiful rooms without going too far, or too little. His reputation is well earned. I definitely share his enthusiasm for porcelains, and he has a nice collection of what looks like Flora Danica to me. And it's funny about making sure the same sets are not used each time, I created my own little database where I track everything I use, what was served, who was there, the purpose, notes about each dish, etc, and include photographs of the table after setting for doing the same thing. Thought it'd be fun to use my skills with databases to do something so unexpected, and I love updating it. LOL

Loved his narration. He's so Interesting to listen to, grasping his thirst for knowledge throughout history.

I remember your first video here and it doesn't seem like enough time has passed for the house to have been transformed as it has been. What a wonderful and sensitive job Mr Corrigan and his team have done here. I don't think the house can ever have looked better, and clearly no expense has been spared. It's a delight to see inside this great project.

Beautiful home and not just a show home either it's functional and lived in as well as historical. In most homes like this I have visited everywhere is like a museum is ridiculous. Is well curated and no fear of enjoying any of it is the way to live in this kind of home. Well done Mr Corrigan and Ms Salk :) I love the fact you painted the window panes the same colour as the walls most people don't they have it wooden or white.
