    Persicaria are wonderful, I've been planting the larger variety in churchyards and rough patches of land near me and the bee's go mad for them ..

      They are and like you say, the bees love them too. We have the larger variety P. amplexicaulis ''Firetail' which is a lovey red and grows quite large. Thanks for watching.

      We planted some in the garden this year, in the rockery next to the original ones so that there is a bigger clump, but we're struggling with space so have given some to family. They also make good plants for spilling over the sides of containers so we might use some that way too.
