Today we get to know the new version of the popular Aquafor Crystal A filter.
The filter is designed to clean water that is not too hard and has a solid 6,000 litre cartridge resource.
Let's see what's inside.
On the top cover, there is a template for mounting on the kitchen counter or wall. The kit contains three standard cartridges. The Aquaphor k5 cartridge is for pre-cleaning to remove sand, dirt, rust and other mechanical impurities; the Aquaphor k2 cartridge is for cleaning and absorbent filtration; and the Aquaphor k7 cartridge is for final cleaning and conditioning.
The filter has a new head - the Pro Series proven manifold with JG 1/4 quick connect inlet and outlet. The manifold is made from thick monolithic plastic and has a new auto-lock cartridge holder that allows you to literally change filters with one hand.
The kit also includes two high-pressure JG tubes, a multi-lingual illustrated manual and an Aquaphor brand tap for purified water. The tap is made from chrome-plated brass and has a ceramic valve. It looks robust and reliable.
The package also includes a kit for connecting to standard pipe fittings with a ball shut-off valve and a spanner for quick-release connections.

The k5-k2-k7 filter set included in the kit is the most universal. But in general, yes, depending on the water quality, with the help of other filters in the series (they are all compatible: k3, k1, k7b, KH...), you can turn Crystal A into Crystal PRO, ECO and even Crystal H for hard water water...
