Letting Zoro live and so that he can have a challenger like Shanks used to be for him was worth more than following an order to retrieve Luffy... he lives to test his mettle but also gives him this opportunity because he saw pride and honor in Zoro that he respected.

The difference are in the audio levels, fixed some parts where the dialogues weren’t audible and increased the music level in the beginning.

Ngl everyone in life action have more character compared to the anime.. Everything looks the same like typical shounen..
Yet again the life action get bad coreography is a big turn off
