As a Japanese person. I've loved Mihawk since I was little, but I never thought I'd be able to see it in live action in such a great way. Confident, bored, cool, yet elegant and classy. I think this actor surpasses both manga and anime.

I say this as somebody who is not a diehard Mihawk or Buggy fan (in fact, unlike most One Piece lovers, Buggy in the manga and anime annoys me). But the portrayal of both of these characters in the live action is truly amazing. I couldn't think of better casting for those two.
Nambi is not holding Luffy's hand in this scene, because Luffy let this happen. She pretty mad at him and well Usopp didn't say much and was much better emotional support since she was not mad at him. The fight was definitely amazing and broke my heart too. 10/10 Magnificent. All the actors should be so proud! 👏
What I loved a about this adaptation of Mihawk is he CHOSE not to bring Luffy in, he just straight up told Garp "Nah, I wanna see where this goes." Because despite how powerful the world government is, they can't make Mihawk do a damn thing. He probably has been sp damn bored for decades since Gold Roger died, he knew a good story being writen when he saw one.
One main difference between this fight and the anime that I really wish they had included was when Mihawk noticed that Luffy and the others weren’t trying to interfere once it was shown how Zoro had no match and that Mihawk respected Luffy for that. Would loved to have seen that here.

Why when mihawk says why u dont retreat, zoro says wounds on the back is ... . Like it doesnt make sense. in anime mihawk is going for the kill shot but then zoro open his chest and says this sentense, which indicate that zoro is not running and he want to face his attack full faced, but here mihawk telling him just give up, but zoro open hish chest like wat!

Huh. Couldnt get into the anime because i cant stand the art. But i might give this live action version a shot.
the anime gets better within time and it goes unnoticeable once you get through the few first episodes. I recommend the anime a lot
