I got this laptop after seeing your reviews but forgot to say thanks to you . From past 9months i am using this laptop n happy with the result Thank you
You're saying in general, but it isn't good for everybody. This muscle under the hood with this cooling, if you can call it cooling, is only good for a certain purpose. In most cases, however, this machine will throttle. Can't help it. The i7 option is better for most users.
One word, ..... NICE Laptop and video. I had the new xps 13 (9370) for a few weeks and encountered a lot of issues with it and I just returned it back. I’d like to buy this one, ....
Ahh can’t wait for your review! I’m so glad I waited for this. Now im waiting for MBP15 to upgrade and I’ll choose between the two. So far I’m leaning towards this machine.
I have a few questions that i want you to answer in the review. 1)Do you have any coil whine? 2)What about throttling? 3)Any issue with screen flickering? 4)How does the killer 1535 wifi card works? 5)The key board is working fine? Please cover them too in your review. because i have read people complaining about these about the new 9570. So i want to know before ordering.
I have bought an i7 16gb ram version of this for my son and I loved it when testing its performance. It was annoyingly noisy on first few boot ups but once all the windows updates were finished it ran as quiet as a mouse. I undervolted the cpu by 125mV and it was perfectly stable. When playing Witcher 3 with high settings at 1080p the cpu was in 60s and gpu also in 60s, the fans could not be heard over the 40% volume speakers (which are also not too bad). I was getting around 80fps which is a waste with the 60hz on the 4K display, never had a maxQ gpu before but I now know I can limit fps in the nvidea control panel to help reduce power usage. It really does run cool and quiet. Although this can game very well it is not a gaming laptop like the Dell G7 or other similarly large laptops, try sticking one of those in a bag and carrying it around and using it all day long. If you want to compare this to a similarly sized MSI GS65, Gigabyte Aero or Razer then fair enough they are valid comparisons. What you will discover is that those 3 are substantially more expensive than a comparable XPS 15 with i7, you are paying a lot extra for the 1060 or 1070 that you will get. If you want the extra graphical power then those laptops may suit your needs better so go for those. What you get with the XPS 15 is a great all around package. Superb performance, great build quality and looks , terrific keyboard and trackpad, good selection of ports , great battery life and the option of a long term warranty. I spent months thinking about what to get for my son and I am happy I went this route.

I have never handled the Huawei so I cannot really advice you on its merits, it does look to be a very nice laptop. The Dell is surprisingly heavy and feels very solid when you pick it up, the Huawei will be a fair bit lighter and also has very thin bezels for a compact package. The main difference between these 2 laptops is the gpu performance, the MX150 is only for casual gaming with modern games on mostly low settings. This low level of graphics power made the Huawei not suitable for my sons needs. the 1050Ti can play demanding games @1080p on high settings with good fps and has the performance I was aiming for. I personally went with the Dell and the laptop I received worked perfectly so I am very happy with its quality and performance. Not sure if that's important to you but the Dell has a good selection of ports. Everyone has different needs, if you need a smaller lighter laptop and do not need the extra performance of the 6 core cpu and 1050ti then the Huawei seems to be a very nice laptop. P.s. I do not work for Dell but if someone wants to offer me a job I will consider it.
Lee Greenway holy Moly, thnx . Finally someone that maybe convinced me. Little story : Im working on the ship . So Im long way at home . And now with the airports etc . Im looking for a laptop. I was thinking a lot about prices, if I want really good fps or not. Batterij life , weight . So I was thinking also about Dell xps , Dell g5 , MSI gs65. And i don't Care about od i'm playing at even 44 fps. So I guess Dell XPS 15 1050 ti is to go. Look good, batterij life great , weight like a feather, can game . If I may Ask ? Can you upgrade ram easy ? Again thnx
If you search on RUclips for Western Gents United you will be able to watch a full set of videos on the new XPS 15. He shows actual gameplay with the fps and temps on screen and his vids are very good. He has just reviewed the new G5 so you can see the difference that makes in settings and fps and whether a 1060 is worth it for you. He also has a video showing how to upgrade the ram , it is not difficult but you do need buy very specific ram if you want to upgrade. My advice is to watch his videos and also Tom's review when it comes out. The only point I would add is that the XPS 15 is not very light, certainly not the weight of a feather. For its small size it is surprisingly heavy and feels very solid
Like you Tom, last years XPS 15 is my work horse laptop and my wife’s for work. It’s a great bit of kit which performs incredibly well. I’m incredibly jealous that you have the new i9 version making an awesome machine even more so. PS loved the opening description of it. Sounded like you were describing and Aaron Martin. 👍🏽
aabidfaiyaz oh ok dude I get you now. It’s all personal preference. I love my XPS and it does good for me if you have the money then this i9 would be a beast.
Still, remember the review. Bought the laptop after this very review in August. Was looking to get either macbook or windows based desktop. Like my DELL XPS laptop. Have had an issue with the battery, which overheated in my bag because the laptop did not go to sleep on the lid close. Bought an aftermarket replacement on amazon which did not work well (the laptop kept saying the battery is not original). Replaced with another aftermarket one, which also led the laptop to fail, returning both to amazon and got a genuine one, no problem with that. During battery replacement, I forgot to screw in one of the Philips screws, and the screen latch bracket, which is part of the back panel, failed a few months later. Could be related to the existing DELL XPS issue seen on the internet at the time, but bought a new bottom case on my own. The purchase was wrong - my original keyboard did not fit the housing because of a different Enter button. Decided to buy a new aftermarket keyboard which fitted. Along with the latch a screw bracket for the charging port also broke up, but I got an original replacement for a few bucks. At the end managed to screw everything on my own - battery, back housing, charging port, keyboard. Definitely repairable at a good rate. USB-C port used daily. And definitely still happy with the purchase. Thanks for the nice video.
n00bie It probably could if they redesigned the chases a bit and completely redesigned the heat sync as the current heat sync is a garbage designed if it's the same like last years
I've my had 9570 for over a year now and while it is a beast, yes, it sounds like a jet engine!! Even while nothing is running sometimes it'll just start howling for minutes at a time. not the best when you're a podcaster and you have to keep starting and stopping your recording :-(
true, + even if that wasa all the dell needed, I would prefer not to use up a type c port for charging in many charging situations, and instead use the non usbc charging cord and use usbc for other things, since there is only one port I believe.
If you are using it fully, then yes, 100W will not be enough. If you aren't using it intensively, then it should be fine. Even at full intensity, it should slow battery drain.
You can get a Type-C dock with USB-PD which can forward the 100W of power to the laptop while providing extra ports. An external GPU enclosure can also provide those watts which will probably be enough if you turn off the GTX 1050 Ti in the laptop.
You should also check out the Matebook X Pro! The Verge called it the best laptop you can buy right now and I think we would love to see your opinion ☺️ (Edit: Turns out he already has reviewed it, so please promptly ignore this comment lol)
I have recently bought the i7 16gb ram 512gb ssd version, and I have to say: it's just plain amazing! In fact, i'm typing this currently on the xps 15. There's only one major complaint I have: when gaming for 5 min, the laptop freezes so hard up to the point that I have to hold the power button for 10 seconds to just be able to do something. It doesn't matter what game it is, or how graphically intensive it is. Even Undertale makes the laptop crash after 5 min. Maybe it has something to do with the intel graphic drivers, maybe it's the thermals being too hot? I don't know what the problem is, but until it gets fixed, I wouldn't recommend this for gaming at all. For everything else however this is the perfect ultrabook.
Thank you for this. Haven't seen too many videos on the refresh yet, and I've been dying to make the purchase. Just pulled the trigger and got the i7 with full HD screen. It'll be a massive upgrade from my Dell with a second gen i5, especially for the adobe programs.
4K screen: Be curious whether you think 4k is worth it. The 1050ti would not be able to handle the 4k display for gaming (not core use case I assume) but some would want to every so often. So, the degree to which it can drop back to 1080p, for games, without taking a hit would be a consideration. I9: It would be good to see some competition in the laptop space, not sure this core-i9 is as really as top end as the marketing is would have us all believe. Let's face it we've been stuck with dual core laptops for ever (for most people), and that's only changed recently. VFM: The 'is it worth it' and 'what else is there' are interesting considerations. Agree that even with a 3yo design, it's a good looking laptop.I don't own apple or have any interest in them but Science Studio did a good video recently on software optimisation for video editing for, on his low end apple laptop. While it's a very specific use case, it was a useful video.
I would be interested in your detailed review in the following: - 4K display vs. FHD display - how much it is better to work on it, reflection in real use, scaling of windows applications? - i9 vs i7 advantage: does it really perform the 10-25% advantage in real life use? Can the machine handle the CPU, or does it throttle back due to thermals? - can one add a 2nd SSD or HDD, if the battery is exchanged to the smaller one? Are the physical ports present for it?
I’m in the process of choosing a new laptop. Was very interested in the XPS 15, until I read about the vast QA issues, overheating and Killer wifi problems. Looking at the new Razer Blade 15 now.
I have 9360. I had it about 8 months and I've had it replaced it twice and fixed 3 times. Xps15, specs look great as well as the look. However, the ridiculousness of QC is beyond me. I hope they are doing better job with 9370
Great Preview and unboxing. Can't wait for the full review on your channel as I've been eyeing this same laptop with the same specs as you have chosen. Subscribed to your channel. Keep those videos coming :D
I picked up 9560 for Christmas after asking you on Twitter. Honestly, I love this thing. I've done a few up grades of my own on it. (2TB 970 Evo m.2, thermal paste change out to thermal grizzly. Ram is next) But I have to admit the one thing I don't like about the 9560 is the 2 line thunderbolt port. That alone isn't enough for me to upgrade but is there a work around? Keep up the great videos! Waiting on that 4k 144hz HDR monitor!
The Tech Chap Nice quick take, but really want to see your full review to see how much of a true performance increase in real world activity you're able to actually without thermal throttling, especially with the i9 and Max Q version of the 1050Ti.
I almost bought one of these the other day but I learned it only came with a 1050ti which is a little subpar if your goal is gaming (which mine is). Giving it a 1060 should be the bare minimum. Side Note: I much prefer glossy screen apposed to matt. Wish more companies would give that option on more models instead of just 4K.
Just because your phone uses usb-c and your laptop does too, does not mean your phone charger will have enough watts to adequately power and charge your computer. It may charge if your computer is turned off, but it will painfully slow. Phones simply don't have the watt requirements that a computer does. However, the usb-c is nice on a laptops for usb-c or thunderbolt 3 docks with power delivery. So one port can break out everything and still deliver power.
Nice preview Tom. Keep up the good work.Look forward to seeing your full review of this laptop. A bit disappointing that you've yet to share your full review of the Aero 15X with the 4k screen you acquired a while back. I'm still looking forward to it, as I'd like to know how the battery life is with the 4k screen. No other reviewer has covered that yet.Speaking of Computex, I'd also like to see the new Asus ZenBook Pro 15 which is coming with the same i9 CPU in this XPS. I'm trying to make a purchase decision between these 3 laptops (a 4th wildcard would be the new Razer Blade 15). Full reviews of all 4 of these, preferably with 4k screens, would be appreciated. Thanks!
I found the Dell UK site didn't offer the model I wanted, the i7 only came with 8GB of memory and a 250GB Hard disk. On some of their european sites I found a number of different builds, one which included an i7, 16GB memory, 500GB SSD and 4K screen. You have to call Dell sales to unlock the other models, the model numbers go from CNX97001 to 07 I believe. I'd been waiting to invest in a laptop for a while and wanted either an XPS or a MacBook Pro, found XPS was just better for the price. Really enjoying the laptop.
We're lucky to have such high quality laptops available in the Windows world! I'm still rocking the XPS 9550 (i7, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, 1080p screen). It was the most expensive laptop I've ever bought, but for the time being, it's still quite good enough for my purposes. I will squeeze out a few more years out of it. My guess, though, is that the 9580 or the 9590 will not have much of a CPU upgrade, since the jump to i9 is pretty substantial. That should make the 9570 a solid and inexpensive upgrade in a few years. But for someone who edits videos (not me), they may not be able to resist jumping into such a substantial CPU upgrade.
you might not have one on hand to do this but I would like to see a comparison video of the Dell XPS 1050 Ti Max Q to a laptop with a 1050 TI not Max Q, and a GTX 1050 TI desktop card. That would be an interesting look into the performance differences
Every xps 15 can have up to the 1050ti max q and no the US doesnt get full 1050ti either the xps would literally cook itself with the extra heat. best dell pulled off from the last gen was going from a gtx 1050 to a gtx 1050ti max q and who knows maybe the 2019 model will come with a revision to thermals to allow for up to full 1050tis or 1060max Qs
Dell xps is the best laptop suitable for both gaming and professional work. I am currently using 9560 model n I love it. 9570 is little better but 9560 is still a great one though i guess.
This is the second video of yours I've watched. Very informative and kudos on your presenting skills. Would you happen to know how it performs with games or a highly intensive 3D platform?
Dell's notebooks are pretty nice. I got a very basic model just recently, a sub-$600 Inspiron with a Ryzen 5 2500U, and then I doubled the RAM and replaced its slow hard drive with a SATA SSD, and of course installed Linux on it, and it's great. Plenty fast, good wireless and Bluetooth capability, optical drive, 1080p display.. Probably wouldn't be all that great for doing heavy computing, but that's not what I use mine for. I like the keyboard, though, something Apple apparently can't get right anymore. :D Ditto the available interfaces on the sides.
Borrow a HP Zbook studio g4 (or the soon to be released g5) from someone and compare the two for video editing. Would be very interested in the results.
Am so freaking impressed i9 Tom you have no idea how bad I've been waiting for a review from you an to come with this is really awesome love your videos an that laptop mouth watering but I really don't like tell placement of the camera and the ports it's caring was really hoping to see a type C charging adapter
Great video as ever boss! Loved your laptop buyers guide, could you do a desktop buyers guide, I think a lot of people would find that useful, thanks again 👍
i wont replace my XPS 15 yet, power for my needs is still there, although i would really like to have something like a 1060 or 1070 in that slim formfactor... And i guess i am most likely going somewhere else with my next purchase.
damn this same set up is around $3800 CAD still going to get it though, have to upgrade from my current 6 year old samsung laptop. you didnt mention it so im not sure if you can get it in your country but i (from canada) have the option for a 2TB PCLe solid state drive for an extra $1050.00 not an apple fan but that seems comparable to there $3000 4TB that everyones bitchen about. ordering the this in 2 days...stoked! great videos man!
Well ima student in canada. I just went with the i7,16GB RAM,512GB SSD, 1080p screen, Microsoft office included, 2 years prem support and 2 years accidental warranty for 2.2k after tax. Im pretty happy considering the savings from a normal price and student discount + coupons
This has one of the best(if not the best) ports selection in the market, the only downside(i think) is the webcam placement.......specs/perfirmance wise you can't go wrong with any of it's competitors at the price range...if you want other laptops than this
The carbon fiber getting dirty so easily would drive me crazy but other than that, I can see why people rate this laptop so highly. Looking forward to the full review.
I've actually been waiting for this for a long time....but in the past 2-3 weeks, I've really warming upto the Matebook X pro. I know its not as powerful as this, it has "U" processors, but still, it looks way better than the xps.
not sure what you're talking about re: glossy, it was never highly reflective, my 4K 9550 is certainly not and highly usable. I doubt the 9570 is any different in that regard.
Nice overview, but it still surprises me when "tech reviewers" on RUclips complain about not having USB-C charging on laptops with full fat Intel H-series CPU and dedicated GPUs, like don't you all know that USB-C can only deliver so much wattage to power Ultrabook CPUs and it's likes?
I’d love to see Dell or Asus releasing XPS 17 or Zenbook Pro 17. Cause I want a 17-inch powerful laptop that doesn’t scream, “Look at me, I’m a gaming laptop!”. I think a 17-inch laptop made the way XPS 15 does would be light and small enough to sell well.
Agile KM I bought this laptop like 3 months ago but the battery is just crap ! If I play apex legends on it it only lasts for like 30-45 mins !! Do you play games ? Also it only gives me like 5-6 hours with just web browsing and RUclips ing. How’s yours ? Let me know please 🙏
I use an XPS 15 9560 now and if Dell doesn't fix that camera location, I won't be upgrading with a Dell anytime soon. I don't even use it that often, but when I do, it's annoying af.
I sent a direct message to Huawei and asked them to hurry up with releasing the new Matebook Pro in UK - we need more competition in the laptop market here
What an amazing piece of tech! It's beautiful. You always make the best quality content possible. Keep it up! One question, Tom. Which antivirus do you use? and if you use windows defender, what other do you recommend?
I also have the Dell XPS 15 (9560) and yeah...its a beast...but you know what?...when you install Linux on it?...it goes from "Beast"...to "God-Mode"!....LoL! I got Pop OS on it..and with 32GB of RAM...and a 2TB SSD?...yeah...I'm not looking for anything else)....although I still love Lenovo ThinkPads!.....those are my "everyday" ;laptops...whereas the XPS?...is for media consumption.....movie / Netflix ...and a bit of reading (trying to learn Python) awesome vid dude!
Bought the 9560 model based on your review last year. Based on your initial impression here, I don't think I'll be upgrading. PS - Can you do a VR capable PC build/specs etc? Would be an interesting video!
Waiting for a comprehensive review on this. Really wanna know whether it's worth going for the core i9 version. Also, need update regarding thermal throttling issues that plagued 9560.
Just order it on US website because when u pay 2500 pounds that is like 3500 dollars converted... stupid prices in the uk even in switzerland u pay like 1700 pounds for the top version of it :)
im still running the maxed out version of 2016 and it think the design is awesome but i need to repaste it and do a dust cleanning, running it 9h a day rendering blender and music production, premier renders 4k 60. I might sell this one and buy the i9 one
Do you think this would be enough for 3d rendering? The fact it has a 1050 kinda pisses me off but if I the fact that I can be able to connect an external videocard doesn't bother me.
Warning!!! Do not let the app Dell Support upgrade the trackpad driver. Yes, the old drivers are terrible, but the new drivers hardly work at all and no fix for over a year now on XPS 15 trackpads. And besides much of the trackpad problems comes from the Windows operating system.
The reason why it is not usb-c charging is that USB-C port can only deliver a maximum power of 100W, which is not ideal for this device as you got a massive 97Whour battery. The DELL charging port is 130W for fast charging.
Why does people on yt keep mentioning that they want to see something diffrent when talking about the outer design. I mean, the macbook pro hasent changed alot in its design or am I just an idiot?
If there's a power port and a thunderbolt 3 port, which port do you use to charge the xps 9570? Why is dell don't just include the thunderbolt 3 port, rather than include both thunderbolt 3 port AND power in port?
wow the new Xps 15 looks good. Can't wait for the full review to see how it compares to last year's model. I sincerely hope this model doesn't have the same thermal throttling issue that last year's model had.
Only 283000 subscribers ? That's not right. You actually convinced me to buy the 9560 (coming from MacBook 2015) and I couldn't be happier with it.
I got this laptop after seeing your reviews but forgot to say thanks to you . From past 9months i am using this laptop n happy with the result
Thank you
I have been waiting for it since I've learned about it! So yes, I'm super excited and thrilled to own one. Thanks, Tom!
I have the 9560 (got mine in October last year) and I'm thoroughly satisfied. Definitely will wait another year or two.
😱😱😱 Holly Jesus! Core i9, 32GB ram, 1050ti . This is a great laptop.

@FRODO SWAGGINS i9 means a burned hole in a laptop.

PCTechHub does that means ppl who don’t prefer Mac book pro could go for what TTC??
aabidfaiyaz sorry dude I don’t know what you are getting at!
PCTechHub I meant most ppl don’t like MacBook Pro so do they go for dell XP’s the one shown in this video??
aabidfaiyaz you might also want to look at the new Matebook Pro X
aabidfaiyaz oh ok dude I get you now. It’s all personal preference. I love my XPS and it does good for me if you have the money then this i9 would be a beast.
I'm finally going to college and I'm going for the DELL XPS 13 2018, these XPS laptops are beasts in a small package.
I'm surprised this model doesn't offer a GTX 1060 graphics card version, like the surface book 2
Barkin Bryce have you seen how T H I C C the surface book 2 is?
You can't cool it even like this, why bother with stronger components..
ZIL GATES the 15 inch surface book 2 has a 1060
n00bie It probably could if they redesigned the chases a bit and completely redesigned the heat sync as the current heat sync is a garbage designed if it's the same like last years
The only reason surfacebook2 can do that its because the gpu and cpu are seperated, so it is easier to manage heat
Just got the XP’s 15 7590, with 1tb of ssd, 16gb of ram, and a nvidia 1650 graphics card all for 1500 so I’m happy
Was excited for this, looking forward to the full review! You are a national treasure, need more Brits doing such quality reviews!
Michael Cruz kiss his ass
I literally got mine like a day before you with same specs am really liking it. I got mine for 100 quid cheaper cause i bargained with the sales guy
I've my had 9570 for over a year now and while it is a beast, yes, it sounds like a jet engine!! Even while nothing is running sometimes it'll just start howling for minutes at a time. not the best when you're a podcaster and you have to keep starting and stopping your recording :-(
Watching this on my Dell XPS 15 9560!!!
Excellent Tom. Look forward to your full review.
Can't wait for a test video/ comparison because now I'm thinking to spend a little (not that little) bit more for new version
Type C has 100wats limit for charging, with H series cpu and 1050ti I don't think type C will be able to charge the device adequately.
Exactly correct. The XPS 15 power brick is 130W. There is a 100W USB C charger offered by Dell, however it is an additional cost.
true, + even if that wasa all the dell needed, I would prefer not to use up a type c port for charging in many charging situations, and instead use the non usbc charging cord and use usbc for other things, since there is only one port I believe.
If you are using it fully, then yes, 100W will not be enough. If you aren't using it intensively, then it should be fine. Even at full intensity, it should slow battery drain.
Nick Wylie That i9 cpu inside draws upwards of 100W by itself, if you let it. Idk why bother putting such a CPU inside, if you can't cool it
You can get a Type-C dock with USB-PD which can forward the 100W of power to the laptop while providing extra ports.
He has. Check out his channel
Oh thanks! I somehow totally missed it.
Hgo S it's all good. You're welcome
This is a beast in all among laptops.
I would be interested in your detailed review in the following:
- 4K display vs.
Hands down best review for Laptops
I got it a few days back its awesome machine.
Very interested in baseline thermals and undervolting / repasting as a way to improve thermals
Great overview thank you 😊
I am watching on my 9560 and I'm pretty jelly. I wish my 2017 had better speakers and 400 nit brightness.
Thanks!
fyi: you can charge your laptop w/ usb-c ; as long as it's 45W+
It doesn’t have a 1050 ti Max Q, it’s just a regular 1050 ti
BldgWha7 It has a 1050ti max q...
The U.S. gets a GTX 1050 ti. I believe everywhere else gets a Max Q.
TWO QUESTIONS:
1.Can you please tell me about the battery life? Is this durable enough?
2.How about pen support? The screen is touch-model isn't?
This is the second video of yours I've watched. Very informative and kudos on your presenting skills. Would you happen to know how it performs with games or a highly intensive 3D platform?
I gonna buy this device as soon as possible
Dell's notebooks are pretty nice. I got a very basic model just recently, a sub-$600 Inspiron with a Ryzen 5 2500U, and then I doubled the RAM and replaced its slow hard drive with a SATA SSD, and of course installed Linux on it, and it's great. Plenty fast, good wireless and Bluetooth capability, optical drive, 1080p display.. Probably wouldn't be all that great for doing heavy computing, but that's not what I use mine for. I like the keyboard, though, something Apple apparently can't get right anymore. :D Ditto the available interfaces on the sides.
just a dream come true
Borrow a HP Zbook studio g4 (or the soon to be released g5) from someone and compare the two for video editing. Would be very interested in the results.
Would love to see an in depth battery review with the upgraded internals !
Am so freaking impressed i9 Tom you have no idea how bad I've been waiting for a review from you an to come with this is really awesome love your videos an that laptop mouth watering but I really don't like tell placement of the camera and the ports it's caring was really hoping to see a type C charging adapter
You are going good mate. Very nice video. Keep it up
Great video as ever boss! Loved your laptop buyers guide, could you do a desktop buyers guide, I think a lot of people would find that useful, thanks again 👍
why does xps always steals mah heart
The new positioning of the cam which allows the 2 nostrils to show up is enough to upgrade :D It's all about symmetry :D
i wont replace my XPS 15 yet, power for my needs is still there, although i would really like to have something like a 1060 or 1070 in that slim formfactor...
Yahoo!!!Man your are the first to post review in Dell XPS 15 9570 (2018).Keep up the good work👍🏻
This has one of the best(if not the best) ports selection in the market, the only downside(i think) is the webcam placement.......specs/perfirmance wise you can't go wrong with any of it's competitors at the price range...if you want other laptops than this
It's funny you touted the 'Full HACH D' model in the previous gen
I bought the new 2019 XPS15 with the Oled screen, one TB, i7. It's being delivered tomorrow.
Outstanding. How's the laptop now? Going decent so far?
@@082138able I am satisfied with the performance.
@@lonecam1955 how about the thermal management?
Nice. Waiting for your full review.
Nice.. waiting for full in depth review 😄
Nice .... Battery is also Impressive. 97 Whr.
How reliable is the XPS 15? a lots of ppl had problem do you?
I use an XPS 15 9560 now and if Dell doesn't fix that camera location, I won't be upgrading with a Dell anytime soon. I don't even use it that often, but when I do, it's annoying af.
Actually they did center the camera which is an improvement
Im getting ome for christmas and thus will be my first laptop
Pls pls pls.... Make a comparison video between... *Dell xps 9760 and 9750 as well xps 13 2018*
Waiting for a comprehensive review on this. Really wanna know whether it's worth going for the core i9 version. Also, need update regarding thermal throttling issues that plagued 9560.
Matebook x pro ! Let's go !
Did you buy it directly at the store because the packaging come different
Warning!!!
Do not let the app Dell Support upgrade the trackpad driver.
Yes, the old drivers are terrible, but the new drivers hardly work at all and no fix for over a year now on XPS 15 trackpads.
And besides much of the trackpad problems comes from the Windows operating system.
Salute to ur videos Tom.
The reason why it is not usb-c charging is that USB-C port can only deliver a maximum power of 100W, which is not ideal for this device as you got a massive 97Whour battery. The DELL charging port is 130W for fast charging.
I also have one (9560 version) best laptop ive used so far 👌
which one is good to use , the regular one or the touch
Wish there was a 17 inch with numpad and a bit more screen real estate
I love it so much. 😍😍😍😍😍😍
Why does people on yt keep mentioning that they want to see something diffrent when talking about the outer design. I mean, the macbook pro hasent changed alot in its design or am I just an idiot?
Stefan Modigh simplicity is best
ScuffedEdits isn't it simple already? It has all the ports anyone could want maybe, and not having to use adapters all over the place.
Stefan Modigh I was agreeing with your comment. The simple design is good.
ScuffedEdits haha sorry but yes your right indeed :)
Well you have a Mac... it says it all...
So disappointed they did not released a Gunmetal color option.
How is the build quality? Still same gripes you had with the previous generation?
If there's a power port and a thunderbolt 3 port, which port do you use to charge the xps 9570? Why is dell don't just include the thunderbolt 3 port, rather than include both thunderbolt 3 port AND power in port?
I had finally upgraded to this with 32gb, i9, 1050ti, 4K TOUCH and 1tb hard drive coming from the dell xps m1210. MAJOR LEAP UPGRADE RIGHT?
I got it too... and.the trackpad is uneven ... always something...
yes I cant wait for this review!
wow the new Xps 15 looks good. Can't wait for the full review to see how it compares to last year's model. I sincerely hope this model doesn't have the same thermal throttling issue that last year's model had.
Annyone thinks he looks like Mike Ross from "Suits" Tv Series. Just a thought. Anyways, love your videos man :) keep up the great work.
