I started being curious of the Japan’s Volleyball NT because of Nishida’s jumps that went viral back in WC 2019. But after watching the games, this guy really really caught my attention. He’s a friggin all-rounder and he does amazing in all those positions. He wasn’t the captain during that time, but he was already showing that he can lead and be very reliable. A really smart player! It’s always a joy to watch you on the court, Yuki!
I finally saw him play in flesh yesterday at VNL Manila and he’s indeed an all-rounder! 🔥 He jumps so high, he serves and spikes fast and hard, he DEFENSE 😭 He’s an all rounder I sweaaar

Now excited for VNL 2022 for all of them playing. Epic!

Ishikawa’s my favorite at the Japanese team but they really need to improve their middle blockers if they wish to compete with the higher level teams. I wish they could’ve advanced further in the olympics.
