Actually, they're lip-syncing to the scratch track the composer (Bret McKenzie) sung for reference purposes, had Dave actually provided the voice for Kermit here, it might've sounded like Boober Fraggle. This of course was done when Steve was (despite not being in the UK for these rehearsals) still performing for the Muppets and coincidentally the "villain" is a Kermit impostor (Constantine, who is played by Steve's successor Matt Vogel) So in a way MMW predicted Matt Vogel taking over Kermit the Frog.
I felt exhausted just watching this. The artistry and endurance of these performers is incredible.
Every human in this video has the best job ever.
Happy 10 years to this masterpiece of a song!
Dave Goelz performing Kermit is something I never thought I see, that’s amazing
And Louise Gold as Fozzie.
@@daniexists6 Actually, Louise is assistanting as Fozzie's hand, Peter Linz is puppeteering Fozzie.
@@andreassmith-partee3355 You can see that Peter's other hand is free and handing the second cane, while Louise has both hands inside the puppet.
@@daniexists6 Yup, I see.
He's not singing as Kermit. Just performing...
Peter Linz as Fozzie Bear
Louise Gold as Fozzie Bear (arms)
David Rudman as Scooter
Dave Goelz as Kermit The Frog (understudying for Steve Whitmire)
Louise did the right arm and head
Peter did the left arm
Andrew Stasio Puppetry No, Louise did BOTH of Fozzie’s arms, while Peter is doing Fozzie’s head and body.
oh yeah
I can tell by 0:47
Honestly seeing Dave Goelz performing is something i never thought i see this Is truly amazing Dave did a good job
Fun fact: Peter Linz was one of the performers who did puppeteering for Fozzie in Muppets From Space when Frank Oz wasn't available.
Well actually Peter did Piggy in Muppets From Space. Fozzie was done by John Kennedy. John also did Sam the Eagle. Animal was Rickey Boyd
De poppenspelers liedje
Kermit de dier Fozzie de dier de pop achter de schermen
It...never registered for me that the Muppets actually use choreographers for these scenes.
Love this rehearsal video!
I'd like to see more. Do you have more videos?
FUN FACT: Peter Linz puppeteered a Frank Oz character before, and that was Miss Piggy in 1999's Muppets From Space.
I love this!
Los más buscados
I'm looking at an alternate universe where Dave Golez takes over Kermit instead of Matt Vogel
He’s lip syncing to Bret McKenzie‘s scratch track I think.
@@megelizabeth9492he is lip senk
Oh my god
You know he is doing gonzo
This is so cool
Full version
Anyone know what the reason for the not regular performers was?
Probably just a screentest to see if the choreography worked with the puppets.
I believe this was the time where Kermit and Miss Piggy was called in to colab or guess star to promote the show and other shows.
Were can I get more
wheres miss piggy
The description is Spanish
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
2020 is here
Dave’s Kermit sounds like Gonzo mocking Kermit... interesting haha

@@caspercain2533 I predicted Matt Vogel taking over as Kermit in 2015 If Steve Whitmire retires I think Peter Linz or Matt Vogel will take over
Seeing Kermit's bottom is unnerving
cool
Seeinf them without legs is weird
Huh. Dave does a better job as Kermit than Matt
the voice or puppetry
@@StasioRUclips Voice
that’s Bret McKenzie the writer of the song not Dave
It sounds like Gonzo
@@The1Tyman This is Brett Mckenzie😂😂!
