Today I will explain how to use the "Safe Mode" of Windows 10 to make adjustments, update or uninstall drivers that do not allow Windows to work correctly.
As is known to all users, this operating system tends to have a lot of black screen and blue screen glitches, after an update.
I will show three alternatives to enter "Safe Mode".
The first is when Windows usually fails with a black screen or blue screen but in the end it works.
The second is forcing the computer to start to induce an error and enter advanced options. This is due to the inability to start the software.
And the third is using a BOOT USB stick or the Windows installer DVD.
It should be remembered that the USB or the installer DVD must be used with the same version of Windows installed on the computer to be repaired.
I will start by explaining how to enter "Safe Mode" when the computer allows us to navigate normally, but sometimes presenting blue screens, generally after an update or driver installation.
Start by clicking on Start, then on Settings, on the screen that opens, click on Update and Security, click on Recovery, then click on Restart Now.
The process immediately begins to enter a blue screen with several menus that we can use according to our needs.
In the "Choose an option" menu, click on "Troubleshoot", then click on "Advanced Options" with the mouse, then click on "Startup Settings" which is the gateway we will use to enter "Safe Mode" ”.
As we can see we find several entries for different solutions on the home configuration page, Click on "Restart".
This screen is displayed where there are various tools, how to read. We must use the keys F1 to F9 to enter the instrument to be used, in our case press F4 to enter “Enable safe mode”, F5 could also be used to enter safe mode with network functions.
    I'll press F4.
This black screen should appear with the desktop where the shortcuts and folders that we have are. As you can see, the “Safe Mode” warning is read in the corners of the screen.
Let's remember that "Safe Mode" gives us the possibility of accessing, making changes and updating some drivers that in their normal operation does not allow it because they may be being used by the system.
Let's take a tour of the device manager by pressing the Windows key plus the X key, then in this window that has just been displayed press "Device Manager", give a little wait while another window opens with all the devices and their drivers installed.
We can update, disable or uninstall them when they are generating a conflict with the graphics card, whether it is a black screen or a blue screen, especially when we have installed a new card or updated drivers.
Other drivers that may conflict and are reflected with a blue or black screen are faulty hard drives. Also the SSD disk commonly called solid state disk in some cases has conflicts with the drivers.
If we click here, the option to update or uninstall drivers opens.
