This is a nice-looking sporty summer watch with the tropic rubber strap(blue/orange). Ideal for travel , especially when going on a beach. I think it is one of the best value watches that I'll be looking forward to.

I picked up the earlier blue dial last year, a bit less busy than this one. Replaced a Dan Henry and Amfibia Reef compressor style watches. Gorgeous watch, really enjoy it,
For the price that they are requesting this is a pretty damn good deal
I like it because it’s different from the usual divers watch
I've got a m8 that has a strong preference for compressor-style watches (has a Boldr for daily). I sent this to him to see if he's willing to get a REAL compressor next.

I have a Mido Ocean Start Decompression World timer. It was originally released in 1961 and the dial is very similar to this. The Cward is paying homage to that dial in my opinion. Or maybe there is another brand that is even more earlier with that style of dial. I own a few Cwards but wont be buying this version because its just to close to the Mido. Oh and the 150m is good but not very true decompression worthy. I am a licensed ACUC diver and would never wear either watch for a dive btw. They are both fun and different watches not your every day GADA. Glad they both exist.

I just got into watch collecting. I've loved watches since I was young but I never had anyone teach me or bring deeper into the world. MaMaCoo brought closer to a community and hobby I always wanted to get into more and that is incredibly meaningful to me !

What is the point of a true super compressor if the watch only has 150 meters of water resistance?
who actually uses a diver watch for actual true diving? maybe 1% of the people who have a dive watch. its just cool knowing that its there for watch nerds who like unique aspects of watches. Just like how the omega diver has a gas escape valve. nobody actually uses it but it just makes it unique from every other watch out there
@trafiak8 they tout how the spring action of this true compressor increases the water resistance the deeper you go. I guess without this feature this watch would only have a 50 meter water resistance instead of 150 meters.

Hats off! I guess? It's a nice exercise but the reason nobody makes supercompressors anymore is that modern divers and their seals are more than adequate for the application.

What are you getting You're getting the Christopher Ward name You're getting the build quality You're getting the upgrade movement and you're getting the quote on quote nostalgia is it worth the money sure it's worth the money. Go and look at any other watch over the five $6,000 arena and they'll look just like this and what are you getting for that A name and that's about it same internals a name so I think that answers your question
