Petone, a large suburb of Lower Hutt, Wellington, stands at the southern end of the Hutt Valley, on the northern shore of Wellington Harbour. The Māori name Pito-one means "end of the sand beach". Europeans first settled in Petone in 1840, making it one of the oldest European settlements in the Wellington Region

More-or-less in the last frame at 7.37 is the corner of Jackson & Victoria Street. On the sign it says #46. My Grandad & Granny lived there. The House no longer exists. I spent a lot of my BoyHood in that wee house. Petone is unrecognizable to me now, but i sure knew that camera was headed for Victoria Street. I am 70 now!
