6 Google Sheets Functions Every SEO Should Know

In this episode, we are going to be looking at six powerful functions within Google Sheets that every SEO needs to know.
Now Google Sheets is a powerful tool. It's a really cool tool to look at our data, manipulate our data, and really dive deeper in to get a better understanding of the things that we need to do in the areas that we need to improve in. So I'm going to show you some cool functions that I use almost every single day in order to help us grow here as an agency and help surface new opportunities for our clients as well. VLOOKUP
Used for: Pulling data from one spreadsheet into another spreadsheet - as long as the two sheets share a common value.
Function: =VLOOKUP(search_key, range, index, is_sorted)
LEN
Used for: Counting number of characters in a cell
Function: =LEN(insertcell)
SPLIT
Used for: Splitting data around a specified character or string, and puts each fragment into a separate cell in the row.
Function: =SPLIT(insertcell, delimiter)
SPARKLINE
Used for: Creating a quick sparkline graph right within your sheet.
Function: =SPARKLINE(insertcell range)
IMPORTXML
Used for: Pulling data from any of various structured data types including XML, HTML, CSV, TSV, and RSS and ATOM XML feeds.
Function: =IMPORTXML(url, xpath_query)
IMPORTDATA
Used for: Pulling in data from APIs
Function: =IMPORTDATA(url)

hi, can somebody tell my why he needs to use the "& &" to fetch the specific URL please? Wasn't it enough to just specify what cell he wanted to fetch without using the &s? Thank you
