This is a great tutorial. Going back to basics and helping new players is exactly what Blitz needs right now. I think people want to be that one hero that gets 6k and wins the game, which is possible to do but unlikely. The most reliable indicator of a winning games is when the entire team has a spread of 1000 - 2500 dmg across the board after the match, and everyone did what they needed to do and not what they wanted to do. Lights and Meds spotted without being reckless taking opportunity shots when they can, heavies held the line without bleeding, and TDs positioned and repositioned in cover as the game progressed over the map...and everyone reacted to the changing map information.

Really great idea to revisit all of the basics with all the new people that have joined the game ever since they put blitz on the Nintendo switch. Camo mechanics with bushes should be covered some time soon because I feel no one uses it anymore. And people need to understand that you can do the same damage at 20 meters from 300 meters away. I had a game where (dead) teammates were telling me to push on afk while I was shooting from hard cover just in case the last tank had shots on me and calling me coward; turned into a 4K game in the Sheridan. Really great video Bushka, thank you. I especially liked your thought process on Yamato Harbor. Moving with the team and having the intersecting lines of fire so that when you were spotted and pushed on, the rest of the team could help without having to go all the way across the map to get to you. I also liked your point that people coming from the pc version already spent hundreds if not thousands of battles there making the mistakes and learning the basics. Can’t tell you how much I appreciate all this recent content.

But I love watching your videos keep them coming wish we could toon sometime. And yes I do have heavies same for many other tanks. God Bless!

Even after 4 years of playing I'm still not the greatest sure I can angle my tank bounce a lot of shots and I kinda know what I'm doing but feel I can improve and even videos about simple things like like angle heavys and droodles one on flanking help a lot
Im noticing the same thing in the past few months when I play meds and lights. Ill do a good deal of damage only to find Im one of the last alive facing 2-3 heavies with almost full health because the green heavies did nothing. By that point, its hard or almost impossible to claw back. However, when I play a heavy, I will win more often than not just because I can hold out much longer and occupy 2-3 of the reds, giving the team a great chance of winning. Its true, so many players just want big, derpy damage instead of focusing on what they can do to help the team win. It’s amazing how just keeping reds occupied or distracted but not being able to do much damage still is a great contribution to a win.
Very good info. I'm gonna do just what he says... I'd hate to let him down. Thanks for sharing. Not a big flash and diatribe game, just good technique sharing. Every map has its own sweet spots, every tank has its play style. Patience is my problem as well.
Nice guide, it pays off a lot knowing what kind of heavy you are using. One meme-ish example is when you use a TOG you'll be more than happy to march into weaker enemy lines you know you can out DPM and outhealth A bit of a problem is some heavies are a bit shy when pushing. A flank where we had a huge numerical advantage, i've had to lead the charge with a nashorn before they push up. Stupid move yeah but i gotta set an example lol
Here is a suggestion for the e100: when you are so scraping off of a building instead of pointing your gun right into the building, try to angle it towards your opponents. 8:48
Top guide to heavy tanking , covered everything from angling to positional play and watching the teams’ shape to maintain balance. Only thing I’d say is that you need to adjust your approach slightly for auto loader and hull down heavy tanks. I learned all this in the wotb forum guides years ago, are new players not going there anymore?

I see your example play out 50% of the time where heavies get slaughtered early, due to bad positioning or rushing, and the game ends a loss even if I pull down 2000 to 3000 damage or more in a TD. My handle is Yank_in_a_Tank on the North America server... Anyway, you're an awesome player and RUclipsr... Thanks again for your fantastic videos, especially this one. Can’t wait to see the clip of u playing (after the new update) were u can only get ram damage ,turrets don’t work and caps or time is the only way to win
I have a consistent frustration that people just don’t play their tank type anymore. Meds and lights down heavy routes is my particular pet hate. I tend to go the other way and get out of my heavy and actually go spot. Argument to say any fool can drive a heavy, hence if you are a better player you may indeed enhance chances of winning a tight game by driving a tank with a higher skill base. Really wish the “noob rush” would go out of fashion and we could go back to playing the game over 7 minutes properly. Great video thanks.
This is the counter argument to the "don't go town" strat. We've won battles where we found no opposition on the heavy line and pushing it to catch the whole enemy team in a pincer. I think that rule is more like "don't everyone go town in the early game".
I sent you an 8k game yesterday yesterday the t110e5 that would have been peeeerfect for this video! Rushed to advance position and held and smashed the whole team on yukon
I was playing as the OBJ 252U yesterday and solo held 4 guys for more than half the game on the right side of a map with two TD’s far back providing support. I couldn’t believe my eyes when the enemy pulled a suicide charge to finally get past me and my teammates started dropping like flies as they waltzed into the fight 1 by 1. This happens very often with me.
Thank you for the helpful advice. I've been playing on and off for about a year now and I feel like I'm turning the corner and becoming a better player. Unfortunately I played a lot of games with no idea what I was doing and will probably be playing for a good while before I can break 50% win rate (I think I'm at 46%). I have at least improved enough that I lead my team in damage fairly often, sometimes from bottom tier. A large part of my losses are from stubbornly grinding tanks I absolutely hated which did not suit my play style or my skill level at the timer .
Hmm this rlly helped me out as a new player e.g I encounter a tiger I(cuz im still t7) I just angle my tank and basically that tiger cant penetrate my armor( im using IS btw).

Just such great play Bushka. Informative tactics that should remind us of just doing the basics. Love the E100 also.
Lol the Smasher driver 😂 Good video Bushka
Damn! I find your videos so helpful Bushka. Thanks for uploading.
With this, a new knowledge has been stock in my brain to use.
Was going to do a hill down variation on this might fit
@@BushkaOnBlitz but the update has taken the replay unless you can watch it from the email file thing
Good video, thanks. Informative and it made me laugh. Trying hard to save those hot points... Spot on
I always catch myself saying "Should I be here? Do I have enough backup?" If no, time to go!
For gods sake, i was just sucking in my kran positioning and this appeared in my recomendation.
This is excelente!
Decent vid. Thank you for these, I need em. Those kids are mean!
A large part of my losses are from stubbornly grinding tanks I absolutely hated which did not suit my play style or my skill level at the timer .
i was like u for the first 2 years of my blitz career
“It’s a big-booty, pie-eating, German machine, and I LOVE IT”
Hey, Bushka, that’s my mother you’re talking about, mate!
GREAT Video! Thank you for the info!
Bushka, your video was really useful , I just reached 4.3k rating thanks to you( I was on 3.2k five days ago)
Will you have guides for positioning in other tank types?
very well done educational vid thanks helped a ton
Hmm this rlly helped me out as a new player e.g I encounter a tiger I(cuz im still t7) I just angle my tank and basically that tiger cant penetrate my armor( im using IS btw).
Cheers mate, god knows the E100 is a nightmare if not played right
