I started focusing on 1) not taking damage, and 2) getting my average damage as high as possible. (while not worrying about winning or losing.) It worked. My winrate went from 50% to over 65%. It turns out if you get a lot of damage, and don't take much, you win a lot more. That seems like common sense, but it took my thick-brained self a while to figure it out.
Want to win ? Easy! Just don't take damage !! Want to cure depression ? Easy! Just be happy ! Want to stop being anorexic ? Easy! Just eat. Want to stop binge eating and cure bulimia ? Easy! Just stop eating! You make it sound like it's just that simple when there's other factors in play. Like knowing the maps , positioning and knowing when to hide or push and who to target. Doesn't matter if you're the best on your team if you're the only one with braincells and the rest are potatoes.
im a 55% and i think that i have improved at lot from this video and comment now currently around 65% wr
Agree with many in the comments. As a veteran in the game I am very appreciative you putting videos out like this to educate the community. I am surprised WG does not do these for the community.
Yes bro I really appreciate the videos the community really need to see these videos
Agreed bro
Ty for your service. 🥴
Bushka great video per usual so sorry to hear about your hand issue I didn't play over the holidays had a scary diagnosis as well its early though , doctors is telling me 2/1 treatment options its such a great thing your putting this out there BREADCRUMBS TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM LOVE ❤️ ALL MY TANKER BUDDIES LETS FIGHT SOON
Omg!..I'm currently watching (one man's opinion special) 6year old video thinking you have given up on these long, in-depth reviews and analysis videos, and I get this golden nugget. Thank you for still caring and taking the time to coach us and make us better players in blitz 💙💯💥..
Hope you enjoyed it!
I love that "I'm td" is a valid excuse for chilling in spawn the entire game. Some td players are just so lazy, trying to bully you into risking your hitpoints to draw opponents out into areas where the td MIGHT be able to shoot them, but will probably miss anyway
Me too, as a TD some of my experience are being confused whether to choose go along with LT/MT/HT. Because staying in one spot for too long sometime have many advantages like you're mentioned above, waiting another tanks to draw enemy in aiming zone, but on the other circumstances, those tanks doesn't draw us any enemy tanks to shoot and start bleeding. And when you're realize that your teammates already bleeding, it's already too late.
But, on the other side, if you driving a TD that has very weak armor but a big alpha damage like FV125b 183 and going frontline, you may shoot once and hit the enemy, but once you're going spotted, it's an instant ticket to going back to the garage. Honestly, it's really confusing😅
I may choose to go frontline with a TD that has a solid frontal armor like Obj 263 or T110E4. But keep in mind if you drive a turretless TD, you're mostly slow and not manueverable enough to react on enemy position, so what i'm doing are positioning my self in rear of highly manueverable tanks such as LT/MT so when the enemy or lunging in, you got enough distraction to go behind a cover.
Honestly it's easier said than done😅
I'm a 53 percent player, and i credit climbing out of the forties by watching your vids for the last three months. Thank you Bushka.
I agree as well. I went from 48% to 54% just by counting tanks and learning better map positioning. I am more patient than before but not consistently. I am also guilty of tunnelling which seems to be a very hard habit to break. So,if I can get better at that and remember more about the specific properties of the different tanks I can likely get over 55%
Please keep this series going! This will help so many people
Being a 65 year old man, with a shattered and rebuilt rt hand, I have no computer living on ssi disability. I must play on my phone. Luckily I have a smart TV so I can use it's screen with phone controls . Thank you sir for your incredible help and taking the time in your day to do it.
Rock on amigo
I totally agree with everyone saying this is a good video. More and more it seems that the meta for this game is random, and yes it may change a little, but there is a right and wrong way to play Blitz, and I think some of the younger and less experienced players, me included, benefit well from this content specifically if we dig into it. Appreciate you Bushka and what you do.
Hell, everyone benefits from it, but I think it might be especially helpful to those struggling.
Excellent advice, great tips, after I turned battle chat off years ago the game became more fun and I started winning more
Yeah very true
Great video and quite timely for me. I’ve been plateaued around 58% for a couple years now and realised recently that I’ve really been in a Zombie mode. Not putting much thought into the game, not bothering to look at line-ups etc. Your recent videos have reminded me that there is more I can do as a player. I just need to make the space in my head to be more thoughtful.
Fantastic!
Is there any way we could get a comparison video on how accurate guns are on different devices? I feel like there is a huge difference between phones, tablets, and pc. I think this would be right up your alley since you do all kinds of analysis on your pubg channel. Anyway its great to have you tanking again. Thank you!
This is true. I have played on both, and I definitely prefer pc, but the aiming and zoom is slightly different on pc with the manual zoom. It doesn't lock on to a target the same way, and you definitely have to practice with either one or the other to get good at it. I used to be pretty good on a tablet, but I'm a PC guy at heart.
I prefer tablet I’ve played both but I prefer auto aim on tablet
TYVM once again. So good to have you back adding to the freshness and spirit of the game. Cheers bloke.
Definite Props for doing this Brother Bushka... keep spreading the teachings of the obscure and esoteric Blue WR cult! The better the player base is, the better the games are, overall!
Hell of a game in the WZ! Thanks for the great knowledge Bushka!
Good info. I’m at a 55% wr and I know when I’m in a battle with someone with say a 65% wr, they just play the game differently. Unfortunately those players are getting more rare as I can also tell when the players are mostly 45% wr. Best thing I ever did was disable chat
No kidding. 90-95% of my games are seal clubbing curbstomps. Either my team wins in the first 2 or 3 minutes or we lose. I'm stuck at 50-52% win rate because everyone seems so impatient anymore. It's sad and crazy to see tier 9 and 10 players just mindlessly rushing to die.
This is the breakdown information players that want to improve need to see and hear… I find myself getting frustrated impatient and sloppy when playing with muppets. This helps sooth the angry beast I’ve become in the game. Thanks! 9 years and still learning.
The amount of times I've gone to help an S.O.S call then find myself dropped right in it! So now, I see if helping a team mate will risk the both of us, of course if I ignore their S.O.S I get slagged off at the end of the game or in the chat.
One big problem I have is that 95%of my games I'm one of 2 tanks from a lower in with a higher tier. It's hard to know what to do when you know you'll come up against tanks which out do you in every aspect. Sometimes I sit back then wait to see where I can support, but then I get dissed for camping. But I know I'll get wiped out against the higher tier tanks.
Intro is still good a decade later.
Fantastic video. I learn something with everyone and my game has improved over the years because of it. Love the light and medium skill vids. Those are where I need work and your video on the FV 202 and how you set it up for hesh got me from 1500 a game to 3000 or better. I can finally make hesh work. Thanks for your hard work and help👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Always enjoy your advice and live streams, but, even playing my best, I lose so many games with landslide losses, i.e. 6 or 7 reds survived just slaughtering and winning. There is no way to improve winrate when there are games that are one sided like that.
My biggest problem has been playing aggressive and getting no support from anyone, that's on me, but, I'm trying to recognize that sooner in a battle. The big thing I hate about the chat on NA, is so many new players speaking only Spanish and spamming during the whole match, whether its for the good of the battle or not, I do not speak Spanish, which, then just becomes an added distraction.
You don't wanna know what most of it is anyhow, I assure you.
Many of those games where you get just murdered are due to team choices and everyone going with it. An example would be Desert Sands. You see they have 3 meds, so everyone goes desert and makes it a 7 v 3 and clears the meds fast. The slow heavies are still in town, so now it's a 7v4... the end.
Many never read the line up and go to a side they have zero chance of holding or winning. Like 2 Sheris going to the side with 2 lights and 2 meds on the red team. They just die and now the reds are free to flank.
Best tip is turn off in game chat and play your game in a vacuum. I played immediately post update last night at 11pm I was exhausted and everyone was playing crazy and I got thumped hard won maybe 5 in 20. I had no focus. If you are not focused you lose
One thing I like doing if I see a good play no matter the team I'll thumbs up and if I ever get the chance I'll try there play if I get a chance it's so fun
Thanks for the great content. 👍
thank you for the tips..something to think about the next game- it's not about the tank but more to the player..
Holly, amazing games. Thank you for the video. You just reinforced all the things that I knew I was doing wrong:) Hope it will help us (viewers) be a bit smarter in the game.
Glad it helped!
Your tutorials are tops!
Great advice as always Bushka!
Great video! Need more of these. I'm very curious on if you believe that guns are more accurate when you play the game on higher end devices. If played on both high and mid level phones anf also an iPad and I believe that there is a difference in how accurate the guns are dependent on devices
The mechanics are all the same for everyone. It is likely a connection speed issue, making you shoot at a spot on a tank that isn't really there due to a lag to/from the server.
I play on PC and have a 43-inch screen. I'm able to hit pinpoint areas of tanks that some may not see on a tiny screen.
@@BIGxJIMxSLADEit really seemed like a lot more shots would dive down into the tracks when I played on a mid level phone. I upgraded and the gun literally seems more accurate and not so much a lag issue
This video helps me alot! Ngl i was old like that
Brilliant. Hands down good advice
Now for the nubs to read this
Dammit bushka you're making me kinda miss playing wotb. I moved over to PC a good 4 or so years back but might pick blitz up again. 😅
THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO 🥰
Today i saw this & played like how you said & for the 1st time i was able to confidently carry a battle instead of others carrying me
Quality info dude
I am a 45% player with only 2500 games and I totally agree with this BUT I feel like every loss I am the last guy standing because my teams are ALWAYS horrible. The guys I get stuck with just rush to die every time and I get the loss and I’m bogged down in the 40%er club. Yesterday I started with a 78% win rate in my Concept 1B and after three platoons I was down to 50% because of my team mates. I make mistakes as a noob but it’s definitely the teams that make it so I can’t get out of the 40% MM. How can I get out?
Alternate suggestion: try to improve, but don’t “try” to get your win rating up, hell, try to get your win rating down. My enjoyment of the game is inversely proportional to my will to improve my win rating, because it makes me rage at things I cannot control, like teammates. If I focus on getting better and also occasionally just YOLO and die on purpose to tell my brain I don’t give a shit about my win rating, my enjoyment level skyrockets. Also the higher your win rating, the worse your teammates on average. So every time you lose think of it as like well at least my matchmaking will improve!
I can relate.but I think it's a NA only experience
So true I rarely look at my winrate it’s always about trusting the process
Bro when are you going to do a video about what stats to upgrade or what tools to use and staf or what amo to use
Excellent 👌
Please do a video on hull down on a flat map
With eu I have a spree of high well thought out games and days where I wanna grind but my minds elsewhere 54% but slowly working my way up I will say eu really is hard so much unpredictable things. All tanks rush 1 flank and lack of comms means it's over before start unfortunately.
If only your great advice stuck in the spud between my lug holes.
Not bad 👍 So slow down, position, and let others take the hits.. Gottcha..
Hi all, liked
The chat can be very toxic, let alone useless.
But I think statically it takes 40% of players with 45-48% winrate to allow the 5% with 60-70% winrate to achieve their unicom status. Just sayin’
Wargaming needs to give the players the option to remove Quick Commands.
That's easy to say with a streamer client!
Bushka was already 60% player and making Blitz content back in 2015 when I started playing. Before he had any kind of CC account.
Plot twist:
Bushka made this video because he is still salty about this T110E4
How about some old school HEAT 54 replays where you ramble for 45 minutes.
Well said Bushka
Lost 70 battles in a row starded friday
First
And the guy on the spawn will come and steal all your kills and think they won the game for your team
Turn off chat in general is my advice. No one who is 65%+ talks much except with radio coms anyways.
It is always the useless players that are the loudest in chat most times.....I let them know to get better, cry harder and that thier skill maxed out at tier 5 in personal message after the game 😂
Absolutely the best advice in how to deal with attack button morons who make nubs rush to die. It’s usually a weak player who presses attack or help more than 2 times a game. Some of them press attack non stop and die in 30 seconds and some press attack non stop and hide in the back. Both are cancer to a team. Especially if they draw in easily manipulated players.
Thanks for playing everyone! :)
Athena game ending was pure luck that e100 blocking damage ( my teammates don't do that) and that sheridan not taking a shot even if he has good angle. Pure LUCK.
That wz game was phenomenal. Absolutely wonderful.
I appreciate it. Been trying to get into his videos since I was 12 playing on my dad's game centre account.
Great video. Glad to see you making regular content again
More to come!
Bushka, understand what you’re saying but man, that guy got some snap shots off on the 121 that just ricochet for everyone else. EXCELLENT video !
I get premium wargaming snap shooterings!
This vid series is great! Can’t wait to see what the next is about!…give us a hint?!😊
Quick question: the percentage given to a player. Is that based on one's ability to survive the entire round or the team's ability to win as a whole?
Teams ability to win
Love these from a player like you. These are extremely helpful. I hope all players of WOTB watch this.
Love to see a video for platoons to get tips with working with my mate in the game.
ഇത് വളരെ ഇഷ്ട്ടപെട്ടു 9:40❤️
Amazing game and lots to learn from! for two years I was a rusher and only after lockdown have I really found my best game... which is pretty average tbh 😂
Great to hear!
Being on the EU server the chat is pointless now as most of what’s written isn’t in English. I doubt 80% of the current EU players have ever watch a YT video on how to play the game, they are obsessed with going into the town areas or camping their heavy tanks at the back of the map. I’ve been playing this game since V1.4 and the EU server is in a really bad place right now not that it was fantastic before the merger but at least you could try and talk to them and give advice in a common language
My largest takeaway I ever received was an old video from your channel, but it helped a significant amount. *Play your tank how it was designed to be played*. Don't let other people in other tanks tell you how yours should operate. Are you a hull down beast? Get in the hills! Are you a side scrape menace? Use buildings and hard cover!
Fantastic video Bushka, this can't be understated! So much good content in this one that even as a veteran non 60%+ player is incredibly helpful. The angles, the direction of the TD in the mini map were great refreshers for me. You are an outstanding educator with all things Blitz. That Foch debacle from the last stream lol. Tough tanking in that one!
I really need to rewatch your videos at least once a week to keep my mind for us cuz I forget in 30 seconds what the heck you just said
the tip is good but, what happen in match making is who ever play near you will be your teammate often, so in asia there's a lot of new players who desperately wants tier 10 without experience they suck, and many asians playing a world rated account which they purchased, you can't raise WR today in asian region
The other keys is what tank you use, I don’t use Top tank (you know what I mean?), I always use 2nd line tanks, e.g. Loza T6 med, T34 85 Ruby, Tiger 131, Tiger 1, IS6 etc,
I have Emil. T34, T77, T54E2 etc… but not often use it. I can use Top Premium tank to get high winrate but I enjoy to play 2nd line tanks.
I used to play this game when I was like 12. Came back recently now 19 and realized at about 8500 games my win rate was 44% and 700 avg dmg… LOL. I have gotten it up in about 1 month so I now have a 47.7% WP and 1100 avg dmg which I would say my true stats for the last 2 months or so Iv been playing would be probably 1500-2k avg dmg and a 52-54% WP. I mainly play tier 7,8, and 10
Impatience is definitely my problem. Started very badly, didn’t have a clue. 4k 43%. 10k 48%. 16k 50% today closing on 50k 51.89%. 30 day average 58.5%. Getting better but, if I could hold back and not yolo as much, who knows.
I find hilarious ppl complaining this or that heavy tank only moves at 30km/h cause they can't reach the frontline faster.
The biggest lesson those tanks taught me (and t28/t95) is to be patient. Patience literally wins games
Working your way to the best spot and "wasting" a solid minute can go a long way and make you survive more often.
Everytime you need to ask 'how did that bounce?' It shows you the mechanics are not working. So many times you get bounces that should not be. I stopped playing because WG do not give one hoot about fixing the game.
Bushka has the best masterclasses I’m trying to get into mystic right now and this helps a lot. Stay strong !!!
Good stuff. I didn’t know about mini map with the direction the TD are pointing. That is definitely what i need to work on. Mini-map,and clearing angles.
I getting better at clearing angles but it’s such a fine line between holding and peek a boom vs push with another tank to clear tanks.
Yeah 100% and I get it wrong alll the time but you can get better at it
Great content have been unable to play was in the hospital for a few days missed it lol my drug of choice to destress giggles aplenty your content is always top notch and must view ASAP TANKS for all you do bushka I get toxic comments and I'm only a 49% but I did a whole lot of scouring and fire support in my first 5.5 k games looking for hides followings the wrong players in battle so I own my stats all good it a destress giggles aplenty game doubt I ever get to play with anyone who likes the funny scheissen that you can pull in this game , have had a few stellar hysterical funny scheissen moments its a good
people don't even play, because the first 30 seconds are important, what you will play, I have seen many times how passivity and negativity put down even good teams, the worst are high and low tier fights when higher ones use the weaker ones and irritate them by not uploading anything, the most it can be seen in rated battles when the other tank farms damage and you give only one hit, he gets more points and you are left with only sadness in your soul as your teammate simply uses you, what is missing here is that some players are not team players, they can be by your side, however, they always let you know that they are like a wolf in sheep's clothing
soul of many players are dark as you never seen
My issue with people is they don’t learn
They’ll try something in a battle or get the team to do something, it doesn’t work and they’ll do the same thing next battle they never learn to look at team comp or the map they’re on they just drive forwards and are surprised when they lose for the 8th time in a row couldn’t possibly be their fault right?
Naah, Bushka pays a lot for his preferential matchmaking and favorable RNG lol. Gg
Hi Bushka, great video. Could you do one on how to play the Indian Panzer T8.
40% winrate after 58k games is a special kind of person. Too many times…
It's insane how he can fire with so much dispersion and still hit shots
Good stuff, and is there going to be a video about how to be a tournament leader in the future?
How to raise my wr..stop playing the game on my cell phone 😂
The one shouting attack is always sat in spawn nothing new.
Is the audio on this video ok? Or is it my device?
Good on that e100 cheerz m8
This is just pure gold
Thanks man
Been playing the game for 7 years now. Some breaks in between, but currently at around 9500 battles at a 53.48 WR when this video came out, since then I have been trying to improve my WR and 60WR is now my goal/grind in this game. As of today I am at 53.62 WR and this video has definitely helped a lot.
The e4 is right though when he said he is a TD NOOB. Another great vid, Bushka. We missed videos like these from you. 👍
WZ game was a bad showcase of skill. I saw too many bad choices that could go horribly wrong but because of stupid luck he survived. That game was some game knowledge and a lot of luck.
I appreciate you watching my game play. If you have any tips on how to lower my luck and up my skill I'd appreciate it. Goes a long way to get more advice in this game. I'm not the best player by far but I got a pretty good head on my shoulders. Been playing with and against the best for almost a decade now. Could always learn how to get better from another perspective.
@@LoveOfficialTOFirst of all. You pushed too much on a medium flank without the knowledge where the enemy team is at all. Also looking at the TD bush doesn't mean that there is no one. If people were on that side and you pushed like in the game you would have been dead or lost at least half hp. Sheridan was also dumb to not at least snap shot at you. Sheridan has crazy on movement dispersion.
FV was not focusing you even though you were closer to him and could potentially circle of death him. Miss play on FV part and he also had a shell loaded and you went and tried to shoot him. Lucky that 183 had no awareness about thing happening around him.
After killing the FV you instantly pushed where enemies are resulting in Conway shooting you. Also to add into an account you should be tracking where all enemies are and like that you would know that Conway was alone so easy target.
Cleaning the Kranvagen was good choice as always.
Now the last part of the game. Rule number one kill the mobility first always. Your team was dying where 4 enemy tanks were on the heavy side. Taking shots from a farr was good but what you did then was a massive red flag to me when I first saw that gameplay. There were 3 enemy tanks and you alone and Sheridan flanking and killing T30. Remember mobility is the most important target. Leaving Sheridan alive and fighting 3 was massive mistake. A big fat red flag. You put yourself behind the rock in between enemies. Now a massive problem arises. What do you do if they all rush you? You got no options. Also to make matters worse Sheridan went around and killed T30. Now you had from both sides enemies so a crossfire. There where people don't usualy live. You were lucky that Sheridan was dumb and let you shoot him. If it was a smart Sheridan. Your game was over.
To get to the part where you ruined away from sherifan and went in front of IS-7 with more hp then needed to kill you before your team kills him. You were lucky that IS-7 had shit focus and shoot E100 and then proceeded to fight E100 other then clearing a oneshot target. So yeah. This game had some resemblance of the skill but so much luck was in there. I guess luck is needed for good games.
Good game at the end of the day. Enjoy.
