- Alien Cat 2 is a Sega Genesis and Mega Drive game brought to Sega’s 16-bit console by PSCD games. This same team now has a Kickstarter to port the game over to the Super Nintendo and the NES. In today’s show, we take a look at the new SNES version and the improvements that have been made to it.

This is pretty good news, love the crew behind these games, loved the game on Mega Drive. I'll be getting the NES port for sure.

Why no Master System port..yet..?
We have not yet found the opportunity to produce cartridges for SMS.
I would love to see more Master System games.

Loved playing puzzle games on the Amiga 500, never played a puzzle game on a console though. Think I will need to look into this as a looks like a good puzzle game with lots of thinking and strategies to work out. 👍
There are some great puzzle games on consoles. This one is excellent.

It's called Justice Beaver: the Great Timber Tantrum. Originally, it was supposed to be a Rick Dangerous clone, but they decided to change directions. I thought the new direction looked much better (like a cute Ultracore).@@RetroGamerBoy

It's really fun.
This game could be put on android. I'm sure it's fun for what it is but it would be nice to see AAA games released that uses the systems hardware to it's full capacity.
I think that's easier said than done. For someone this will be the game they always wanted.😅

It is, this is what is being ported to the SNES. Part of the Kickstarter stretch goals is to update the Genesis version.

Is it just me or does the "breathing" look weird in pixelart games?
Like why is everyone breathing with their entire body?
I don't wanna complain about extra animationframes but couldn't they use that for like a change in expression when you stand still for to long like with Sonic and Ristar?
I don't mind it. It's easier to just move the whole body then bespoke animation.

I am sorry who is interested in crap like that? This wasnt interesting in the best days of the snes or md how can it be today? Only to have contend, please concentrate on gems not on this bad and uninteresting puzzlegame. I am very critical who will get my money. Eleminate down reproduction or zpf news would be more interesting than this s....

@@wantspizzadaily1316 better no contend than this... There are enough news around 16bit gaming. But not everything is interesting to all. No news about the new shoot em up from yuzo koshiro or the new releases of als 16bit games as a new physical version or the sega news about shinobi remake. Nothing like that, but this puzzlegame should interesst us?????
I like to give all indie devs a platform to tell players about their games. Not every game will be AAA, but the more support the consoles gets the more interest people will have in developing for them.
The snes is trash, please don't cover that console.
