- De Seiko 5 SNXS horloges staan ook wel bekend als de Poor man’s Sarb of Grand Seiko. De SNXS horloges hebben een prachtige gepolijste kast en een ‘sunburst’ wijzerplaat. Deze serie wordt niet meer geproduceerd en is zeer gewild. De serie bestaat uit de volgende vijf horloges: SNXS73 (zilver), SNXS77 (blauw), SNXS79 (donker grijs), SNXS75 (grijs met gouden details), SNXS80 (goud) en de SNXS81 (zilveren kast en geel/gouden wijzerplaat).

The Seiko 5 SNXS watches are also known as the Poor man's Sarb or Grand Seiko. The SNXS watches have a beautiful polished case and a 'sunburst' dial.
This series is no longer produced and is very popular at the moment. The series consists of the following five watches: SNXS73 (silver), SNXS77 (blue), SNXS79 (dark gray), SNXS75 (grey with gold details), SNXS80 (gold) and the SNXS81 (silver case, yellow/gold dial)
They are all covered in this video exept the SNXS81! (Still busy with catching) Which one do you like the most?😃

I have the SNXS77 blue dial and I swapped out the bracelet with an OEM fully polished citizen jubilee bracelet. I must say. I am highly impressed with this watch and it’s look.

The SNXS line is a fantastic and inexpensive dress watch in the Seiko 5 line. There are so many different dial designs and color options and it's hard to find a better watch for the price. The bracelet, though, leaves a lot to be desired.

You should put the model numbers so we know which one to get bc they all look very similar. I’m looking for the SNXS79 and tgeee now getting harder to find.

We're still missing the stainless with gold dial.
I think the only thing missing is the lost brother, the SNX447 with the green dial.
Haha you are right. On the other hand it has some differences looking to the hour markers, minute markers, lume and the automatic text + 21 jewels text below the dial

Is the SNXS75 light grey with gold marks suitable for women?
Considering I have a 15cm wrist (almost 6 inches)
I think it would be a bit big on the wrist. The case diameter is 37mm. The lug to lug distance is 43mm. So you can measure it on your wrist:)

Wow that is nice collection you have! If you already have the sarb033 and srpe51, both have dark dials, I would go for another snxs dial color. Plus a advantage is that they are little cheaper. But, on the other hand, I don’t think the snxs watch will be cheaper anytime soon. They will get more rare. Have a look at creationwatches, maybe they have some affordable snxs watches left.

Good afternoon. I have automatic Seiko srpe61k1 and i started the watch manualy, about 20 turns crown and put it on the shelf. they were without any motions and they stopes after 9 hours. Is it normal? Im worried because in the instruction says that they must run 41 hours.
Thanks for reaching out! If you turn the crown around 20 times it’s still not fully wound. Wind it around 40-50 times and wear the watch a full day. Then have look how long it takes when the watch stops. So no reason for worrying 😃

Does the blue dial look dark? I don't want it to be bright because high -price blue watch like grand seiko has dark-blue color which seems quite expensive and luxurious (just my personal opinion😁)

Let me say it like this, in this price range you are not going to find a better blue dial automatic watch. Also the blue dial has an amazing sunburst effect. From dark blue to super dark blue🙌🏼

I think the snxs75 looks the most premium with the subtle gold tones. The snxs79 is the most versatile and wearable in combination with different looks and colors

75 & 79 are the best. White day and date window on dark dial of 79 is just a turn of for me.
I love all of them but my favourite one is the blue.
The sunburst blue dial is also fantastic🙌🏼😃

I want to buy the grey one, I think it is the SNXS79K1 but in Hungary it is almost 170 EUR and I find it too much for a non hacking 30m water resistance watch. It does look nice. Any EU bases webstore where you can get these watches more affordably? I find it hard to justify a 70 EUR difference between the US and the EU
comes because of the high demand, the Snxs73 can cost 111 EUR (cheapest serious seller I found). But the 79 is nearly not to find under 200 EUR

On 1:13 it seems the snxs75 (right) has a nicer, darker dial than the 73 (left). But they should be identical, right? (when you put aside the golden details).
Nope, the dial color is nog the same. The snxs75 has indeed a darker grey dial in comparison with the snxs73👌🏼

It’s the same. The full reference is SNXS79K1. But most of the time you just say SNXS79. The K1 or J1 behind a reference, you can see where a watch was produced. J1 made in Japan. K1 made in Malaysia, Singapore or Korea.
