Kelly even mentions in this video how he’s known Luke for 8 years. And there’s so much more than being left for a girl if we watch this video, but hey, we’re just sharing our thoughts here based on what they are telling us but we really don’t know what 100% happened. 😊 so respect for everyone 😊

kashley didn’t break ur moms house up. what broke it was the dishonesty amongst so called friends. now that ashley has mentioned already being honest with them about her and kelly before signing the lease puts so much in to perspective. ashley even said she could’ve moved in on her own had they mentioned feeling uncomfortable. i feel sorry for ashley first of all because it just feels like she’s just been used and put in the dark the whole time just to get the most hate out of this. y’all are quick to judge and it makes me so mad for ashley especially to have been painted as the bad guy.
I agree now that we know the real full story, Kelly and Ashely don't deserve hate but of course people are going to speculate and make assumptions based on what they know when they aren't being told the full truth about the start up of the house and everything that went on. Kelly and Ashely painted this whole narrative that their relationship began to develop shortly after living together in the house when in reality they had been talking and thinking about dating before. This mislead fans to think no one in the house was prepared for their relationship and just had to adjust to that change when in reality everyone knew the deal and was ok with taking the risk of them dating. Kellys initial video of "leaving ur moms house" was extremely misleading bc fans were again left in the dark and had no idea the timeline and series of events that lead up to the ending of the house. All Kelly said was he viewed Elliots video (where he never mentioned Kelly or Ashely once) as an attack which again, was VERY CONFUSING and made no sense why he was taking the video personally and creating drama out of what appeared to be a simple video of Elliot explaining his struggles and why he was moving on. Bottom Line: Kelly and especially Ashely are both people who don't like to address sticky situations with their viewers which makes sense for somethings but not for something as big as this. And if you're not gonna be upfront how can you not expect backlash in these circumstances. If they hadn't gotten hate they'd feel no need to be transparent about the whole thing and none of us would have gotten the full story. Glad they cleared it up.
Tbh once Kelly and Ashley started dating you could tell the house wasn't going to work out cause it's hard to do group content when 2 people in the group will almost always agree with each other also you don't date your coworkers cause that never ends well, especially when you also live with your coworkers.
The only reason why I even watched your mom’s house in the first place was BECAUSE of Ashley so to hear Elliot tell others that she didn’t deserve equity in the LLC is beyond belief. If anything she was the one that brought in the most viewers, she deserves the equity rightfully so. It also seems like Elliot can’t seem to put his friends & work separately, the line between friendships & business/ work partners became blurred. coming from a braille days kelly viewer and discovering the other roommates, i can say for me ashley definitely carried the content house through most of their time together. either through her solo vids or her appearances in group/duo vids. to say she deserves no equity is mind boggling. her brand was the biggest.
@wlndbeach in this video they mentioned someone else told them the equity situation and then they talked to elliott about it. its not just the three of them that know the equity situation someone else out there knows about this. if you want to believe its a he said/she said situation full of lies go for it. i find it crazier to think they would make this video without receipts but im not the one asking for receipts.
Another thing I’d like to just say, if it weren’t for Ashley there would not be as many viewers as your moms house would’ve had. I only watched this content for her, as I’ve been following her for YEARS and it’s really really gross that he would try to just cut her out like that when she is such a core member. This whole situation really made me understand why as a kid I’ve always heard these 2 rules 1. Never start a business with friends and family 2. Never move in with your best friend This just proves that if you do any of these two things then you risk losing your relationship with your friend *remember that this is a general statement and obviously doesn’t apply to all friend groups, every friend group is different

The last part about how Ashley could tell that Elliot didn’t like her and gave off vibes that he didn’t like spending time with her broke my heart. I feel like this is a common “in your 20s” friendship problem. Some friends expect much more from a friendship than the other person simply because they are two very different people. The person who expects more (usually a routine and scheduled person) starts to resent the person who doesn’t need as much from the friendship (usually the more casual person who plans things on the fly). What they expect from a friendship just doesn’t line up.
Agreed they're in the age group where friendships are challenged bc everyone's lives are going differently & I believe it didn't matter that Ashley is here currently, even if Kelly had a different gf, Elliott would not like her. . . I'm normally a quiet watcher but just wanted to say thank you so much Kelly and Ashley for sharing your side of the story and giving viewers clarity when you didn't have to. It saves a lot of people from making inaccurate assumptions which can cause hate too which none of you deserve. It really gives a lot of perspective when Ashley mentioned her and kelly being a thing before the house and it was such a commendable thing to clarify before the lease. I'm sure there were moments where everyone made mistakes but I hope Elliot reaches out to you guys again to understand the hurt he himself caused while he was hurting also. I’ve supported Ashley for so long and so to see her get so much hate for something that she didn’t mean to cause made me so upset. im glad that the air has been cleared at least from your side. I think the hard part is people always say moving in with your best friends is hard and not a good idea but for content I think it varies. Also, I think these things with Elliot stem from trauma and family issues and they were projected towards you.

it's no one's fault entirely but there were actions that resulted in the snowball effect of what happened. but it was unfair for some people in the community to place the blame entirely on you and Ashley. I've been following and watching Ashley's videos for around 3 to 4 years now and I know how genuine her intentions always are so I was taken aback when I saw people attacking her. I do hope that everyone from UMH finds what they're looking for and resolves this conflict over some period of time

To be honest, when I have seen how free-spirited and laisses-faire attitude from Kelly I didn’t expect this depth and it was something I was concerned about for Ashley and your relationship but you have incredible depth Kelly. It’s wonderful to see. I also knew this would happen so this did not surprise me. You’re all still very young, finding your way through life, relationships and business. I think what Ashley said is true, that you will all learn from this in how to handle business and relationships with clearer boundaries in the future. It’s something I’m still trying to understand myself. Also Ashley’s is such a loving mediator, always seeking peace with compassion. i have been under elliot’s position before coming from a similar experience with friends to dating relationships. Unfortunately, i definitely felt the same feelings that elliot felt; disliking the significant other and felt uncomfortable about their relationship, and it would bring me down because it felt like i lost a friend to another person or i felt replaced. but i learned that rather than being afraid of losing someone, being able to make the best of the time we can get together is what helped me accept the fact. i wish nothing but the best for both of you and a slow regrowth !!
I recently had the same experience. I’m not good with change so it took me a while to adjust and just accept that my friendships will look differently but we can still maintain our friendship through small acts of effort
elliots own insecurities should not have affected them though. u can feel sad and upset but ultimately if u let it result in hatred and bitterness *you* are ultimately in the wrong. no matter what elliot felt, it is no excuse for the abhorrent things he said about ashley, and he should be held accountable for it.
Best friends living together is not a bad thing but it does put strain even on a friendship when you're seeing them 24/7. I'm glad that you guys decided to mutually give your friendship some space because space is much needed.

i’ve been following ashley for so long now & i can definitely tell she’s hurt by the situation. i went through a similar situation with my ex best friend and i related so much to this. i wanted to do everything i can to fix the friendship between us bc i cared for my ex best friend & i loved them. she went behind my back telling my current best friend that she resents me and she hates me. i tried talking it out with them but they never wanted to. so ashley & kelly, my hearts r with u both. im so sorry u have to go through this , i can’t imagine how u both feel!! love u guys so much, everything will be okay in the long run :)💌🫶🏼💞
It’s really sad to see a friendship crumble like this especially over things that could’ve been resolved if talked out with each other. I feel especially sad for Ashley because even though i’ve been a long time subscriber and tuned in to umh because of her, watching elliot’s recent video did plant some seeds of doubt over my original impression of her (sorry ashley! i shouldn’t have!). I can sympathize with elliot seeing that his actions obviously come from a place of hurt, but it was really disappointing to hear about wanting to leave out ashley for the llc. Like what they said in the video, the house wouldn’t have existed without all the members. And i even remember in the very early videos that ashley contributed to the house not only in content, but by providing most of their furniture (which all of the roomies acknowledged and were grateful for btw). I know it’s too much to hope that they’ll go back to being friends again, but I hope they can resolve this matter and move on leaving any bitter emotions they have from staying in the house. I also want to point out that no one person really is to blame here so y’all shouldn’t hate on any of them. The fact that they shared this with us does not make it any of our business and we should leave it to them to resolve the matter between themselves. As viewers, let’s just continue to support their channels individually.
Appreciate the context and insights! What I personally learnt from my life experiences is sometimes people subconsciously project their unworthiness and unhappiness onto surrounding people. We cannot fill their holes on the inside, only they can do it for themselves. We should not lose ourselves trying to fill someone up in the process. Make sure that we are not saying no to ourselves in the process of saying yes to the others. Lastly, an idea is only an idea. You need the right people and dynamics to carry through. For that, Ashley is equally well deserving of her equity to the LLC.

Ashley and Kelly wanted to post normal videos to say goodbye, Elliot posted a vague video and his viewers started to attack them a lot, especially Ashley. if you hadn't released this video, Ashley would've straight up received the Yoko Ono treatment (being blamed for "breaking UMH" up). thank you for telling your side of the story. i've been subbed to Ashley for 4 years now(?), and she's one of the only creators i've been watching for so long this consistently because she genuinely emanates such warmth and kindness that i think few creators - people, even - possess. she's inspirational and makes me want to work towards my dreams and goals with as much passion and enthusiasm. to think she's been disrespected like this - especially when she so objectively contributed so much, if not the most, to UMH (viewership, subscriptions, etc.) - makes me sick to my stomach. people's actions/behavior toward you are rarely ever a reflection of who you are; if anything, it says more about them.

The youtube aspect aside I've totally been there more than once where a friend could not understand or deal with another friends', my own, relationship dynamic etc. The reasons could be different but the story is the same. And then the friend who feels on the out just gets in their head and there's little to no reconcilation. They just give up and don't want to hear it. It's happened to me like 3 separate times in the course of my life and the people who feel the resentment still haven't gotten over it to the point where our friendship could actually be rebuilt. It’s just sad when a situation occurs and a close friend isn’t able to communicate and deal with the issue in a healthy manner and end ups using that emotion to fuel hate and resentment when an honest conversation and humility could fix the problem. I think this type of situation is sadly natural in life and in adult relationships and I just hope everyone can grow from this and create positive ways to deal with their emotions.

I agree now that we know the real full story, Kelly and Ashely don't deserve hate but of course people are going to speculate and make assumptions based on what they know when they aren't being told the full truth about the start up of the house and everything that went on. Kelly and Ashely painted this whole narrative that their relationship began to develop shortly after living together in the house when in reality they had been talking and thinking about dating before. This mislead fans to think no one in the house was prepared for their relationship and just had to adjust to that change when in reality everyone knew the deal and was ok with taking the risk of them dating. Kellys initial video of "leaving ur moms house" was extremely misleading bc fans were again left in the dark and had no idea the timeline and series of events that lead up to the ending of the house. All Kelly said was he viewed Elliots video (where he never mentioned Kelly or Ashely once) as an attack which again, was VERY CONFUSING and made no sense why he was taking the video personally and creating drama out of what appeared to be a simple video of Elliot explaining his struggles and why he was moving on. Bottom Line: Kelly and especially Ashely are both people who don't like to address sticky situations with their viewers which makes sense for somethings but not for something as big as this. And if you're not gonna be upfront how can you not expect backlash in these circumstances. If they hadn't gotten hate they'd feel no need to be transparent about the whole thing and none of us would have gotten the full story. Glad they cleared it up.

I had never heard of anyone else involved in the house before she posted her first video with them in it. I feel like this is a common “in your 20s” friendship problem. Some friends expect much more from a friendship than the other person simply because they are two very different people. The person who expects more (usually a routine and scheduled person) starts to resent the person who doesn’t need as much from the friendship (usually the more casual person who plans things on the fly). What they expect from a friendship just doesn’t line up.

it's no one's fault entirely but there were actions that resulted in the snowball effect of what happened. but it was unfair for some people in the community to place the blame entirely on you and Ashley. I've been following and watching Ashley's videos for around 3 to 4 years now and I know how genuine her intentions always are so I was taken aback when I saw people attacking her. I do hope that everyone from UMH finds what they're looking for and resolves this conflict over some period of time

To be honest, when I have seen how free-spirited and laisses-faire attitude from Kelly I didn’t expect this depth and it was something I was concerned about for Ashley and your relationship but you have incredible depth Kelly. It’s wonderful to see.
I also knew this would happen so this did not surprise me. You’re all still very young, finding your way through life, relationships and business. i have been under elliot’s position before coming from a similar experience with friends to dating relationships. Unfortunately, i definitely felt the same feelings that elliot felt; disliking the significant other and felt uncomfortable about their relationship, and it would bring me down because it felt like i lost a friend to another person or i felt replaced. but i learned that rather than being afraid of losing someone, being able to make the best of the time we can get together is what helped me accept the fact. i wish nothing but the best for both of you and a slow regrowth !!

I recently had the same experience. I’m not good with change so it took me a while to adjust and just accept that my friendships will look differently but we can still maintain our friendship through small acts of effort
elliots own insecurities should not have affected them though. u can feel sad and upset but ultimately if u let it result in hatred and bitterness *you* are ultimately in the wrong. no matter what elliot felt, it is no excuse for the abhorrent things he said about ashley, and he should be held accountable for it.

Best friends living together is not a bad thing but it does put strain even on a friendship when you're seeing them 24/7. I'm glad that you guys decided to mutually give your friendship some space because space is much needed.
I remember when Ashley went to a different shop to get Elliot’s favorite drink I know it’s probably seen as a small gesture but that truly makes me believe she loves keeping things that people she cares about in mind to give the little happy moments back now I haven’t watch every single video but now hearing that he doesn’t think Ashley deserves equity is so awful I don’t hate him or anything but that’s an awful fucking thing to say to someone that genuinely saw you as a friend

i’ve been following ashley for so long now & i can definitely tell she’s hurt by the situation. i went through a similar situation with my ex best friend and i related so much to this. i wanted to do everything i can to fix the friendship between us bc i cared for my ex best friend & i loved them. she went behind my back telling my current best friend that she resents me and she hates me. i tried talking it out with them but they never wanted to. so ashley & kelly, my hearts r with u both. im so sorry u have to go through this , i can’t imagine how u both feel!! love u guys so much, everything will be okay in the long run :)💌🫶🏼💞
It’s really sad to see a friendship crumble like this especially over things that could’ve been resolved if talked out with each other. I feel especially sad for Ashley because even though i’ve been a long time subscriber and tuned in to umh because of her, watching elliot’s recent video did plant some seeds of doubt over my original impression of her (sorry ashley! i shouldn’t have!). I can sympathize with elliot seeing that his actions obviously come from a place of hurt, but it was really disappointing to hear about wanting to leave out ashley for the llc. Like what they said in the video, the house wouldn’t have existed without all the members. And i even remember in the very early videos that ashley contributed to the house not only in content, but by providing most of their furniture (which all of the roomies acknowledged and were grateful for btw). I know it’s too much to hope that they’ll go back to being friends again, but I hope they can resolve this matter and move on leaving any bitter emotions they have from staying in the house.
I also want to point out that no one person really is to blame here so y’all shouldn’t hate on any of them. The fact that they shared this with us does not make it any of our business and we should leave it to them to resolve the matter between themselves. As viewers, let’s just continue to support their channels individually.
Appreciate the context and insights! What I personally learnt from my life experiences is sometimes people subconsciously project their unworthiness and unhappiness onto surrounding people. We cannot fill their holes on the inside, only they can do it for themselves. We should not lose ourselves trying to fill someone up in the process. Make sure that we are not saying no to ourselves in the process of saying yes to the others.
Lastly, an idea is only an idea. You need the right people and dynamics to carry through. For that, Ashley is equally well deserving of her equity to the LLC.
KELLY, I’m so sad that the house ended but I’m so so so excited to see what’s next for your future. Your videos bring me so much joy and I love your content so much. She even got attacked so much by his viewers and she didn’t deserve any of it. Elliot literally created that video and basically framed y’all about being the problem when he’s been the problem all along… He knew what he was doing when he was making that video, if he wanted to protect y’all’s friendship he wouldn’t have done that. Ashley and Kelly wanted to post normal videos to say goodbye, Elliot posted a vague video and his viewers started to attack them a lot, especially Ashley. They deserve every right to put this information out after what they’ve been through.
i feel like elliot’s lowkey possessive of kelly and that’s where a lot of the resentment towards ashley came from. he’s gotta work on understanding other people and their priorities and not expecting others to go with his flow

When this house first started I was so excited to see the content for all of them and now seeing the drama that went behind it makes me sad because things happen with friends. if you hadn't released this video, Ashley would've straight up received the Yoko Ono treatment (being blamed for "breaking UMH" up). thank you for telling your side of the story. i've been subbed to Ashley for 4 years now(?), and she's one of the only creators i've been watching for so long this consistently because she genuinely emanates such warmth and kindness that i think few creators - people, even - possess. she's inspirational and makes me want to work towards my dreams and goals with as much passion and enthusiasm. to think she's been disrespected like this - especially when she so objectively contributed so much, if not the most, to UMH (viewership, subscriptions, etc.) - makes me sick to my stomach. people's actions/behavior toward you are rarely ever a reflection of who you are; if anything, it says more about them.

Honestly I can relate to this so much, I lived with my Boyfriend in a share house with mates and his best friend treated me the exact same as Ashley, told my partner he hated me, he would gossip about me and consistently made me feel very uncomfortable towards the end of our lease, I respect you so much Ashley your empathy and willingness to want to fix your relationship with him despite the difficulty of the situation and how he had made you feel! much love!

I absolutely believe this entire explanation. The youtube aspect aside I've totally been there more than once where a friend could not understand or deal with another friends', my own, relationship dynamic etc. The reasons could be different but the story is the same. And then the friend who feels on the out just gets in their head and there's little to no reconcilation. They just give up and don't want to hear it. It's happened to me like 3 separate times in the course of my life and the people who feel the resentment still haven't gotten over it to the point where our friendship could actually be rebuilt. It's a shame. Sticking around to support you two!

I feel so bad for Ashley she’s the sweetest soul and it makes me so sad to see her getting emotional.. Ashley treated him so good and that’s what she gets that’s really sad
It’s just sad when a situation occurs and a close friend isn’t able to communicate and deal with the issue in a healthy manner and end ups using that emotion to fuel hate and resentment when an honest conversation and humility could fix the problem. I think this type of situation is sadly natural in life and in adult relationships and I just hope everyone can grow from this and create positive ways to deal with their emotions.

I get that you guys have done your best to not post any drama for privacy sake, but we as viewers could feel a lot of tension and a change in dynamic with the relationship in the group. It's so sad to actually see this happening. Idk why we as viewers project so much of our dreams and wants on other people's lives it's crazy. That's why we follow them like crazy and get sad when shit hits the fan. It's almost breaking a fantasy barrier between our imagination and reality. This was a much needed video for everyone to see and know kelly and ashley’s side as well. This end of the creator house doesn’t mean it ended because of a single person. Everyone was right in their own place it just the time which was bad. Elliot was going through a lot of stuff and that Europe trip just triggered him to hate Ashley. It wouldn’t have been like this if he had confronted everything with Ashley and Kelly. Anyway we support you Kelly and Ashley and no one hates you two.
