I use to live paycheque to Monday 😢 paid on Friday, pay all my bills , party that weekend, then broke Monday. I did that for decades!!!. No more!!finally changed. Now have years to catch up to prepare for retirement . I’m gazelle intense now!!
This was so expansive… there is a whole list of factors that contribute to this, minimal financial literacy. There is so much comprehensively that needs to be unpacked. Foundational development, trauma restoration, societal inequity… however, there has to be that moment that you take the control you can over your life. I’m there… all the things that were devastating to who I could become cannot be what keeps me in that place. You must find the strength to say “Regardless of circumstances, I’m going to stop myself from the perpetual drowning.”
Ughhhh🤦♀Unfortunately this absolutely applies to me. I'm in tears watching this video because it's hitting home. I've been ignore my financial check engine light for a minute out of the of not being able to do better. SMH....Now I just got laid off right before the holidays. So I have no choice but to figure something out because my kids depend on me.
I kinda get part of what your saying. It just depends. If your with an alpha male husband that's very guarded, he will not show it. Or perhaps I just wouldn't know, All Praises
Thanks for sharing, you're absolutely right with some men not showing it. My logic with that is, "if you're living with each other, seeing each other, getting to "know" (according to the bible: how a man and woman knows each other physically) also you actually get to live with him and WITNESS his different temperaments regarding different scenarios.) Even if he is an alpha male, his female can break him down, soften him up, welcome his vulnerability, welcome him to release emotionally, or be his peace or not so guarded when he's home), put a touch of femininity in the atmosphere for him. Men have to release emotionally or they're going to blow up whether that's internally or externally, and our hopes are that they are not ETERNALLY before their time. Not because of shopping or anything crazy spending cause I'm still wearing clothes from high school but because I never had it I've always had to don things for my mom or I'd be put out. Well now that I no longer have an income. I'm looking for shelter for myself and my two babies. (Babies, in pampers)
What's crazy is I been making passive income since 2020 well the beginning of pandemic and I'm working part time I'm happy I'm saving way better than ever yall serieslly never give up especially right now
