I love Ichiro and am a huge M's fan. Can't deny his skill, the guys a machine. But he was never that gritty, balls to the wall player, he never took risks and it drove me nuts! Watching this video reminds me of all the arrant throws or singles that squeaked by that he could have gotten that extra base. Always hear people compare him to Pete Rose, but that is the one thing Ichiro never had, that hustle and willingness to play 110%. And it became obvious toward the end.,

ichiro is the only hitter in history that can literally place the ball just over the left field fence. Makes you wonder why he didn't try it a little more often?
