He is. I worked with him on set of a show once and he was the nicest person on that set. Joking around with people of all ranks from the executive producer all the way down to the production assistants

I saw Forgetting Sarah Marshall about a year after the breakup of a long happy relationship and my ex actually moved a wannabe rock star who was like an American version of Russell Brand, into our house after I had left. There were so many parallels to the movie (minus me ever finding a Mila Kunis) that it left me in tears. I couldn't watch it again until years later.
He seems like a very nice guy. Humbled and grounded.
Jason will always be Marshall Erikson to us HIMYM fanatics. Love this part. My favorite sitcom ever.
i worked in a restaurant in the small town he lives in and whenever he'd come in he was so pleasant and always tipped well and whenever he drove by he would always wave in his bronco. literally the sweetest celebrity i've ever met

That's so cool you read the whole book. I've read a lot of Wallace's books but not that one yet. I gotta read it! Jason's sincerity in real life seems to translate to how sincere Wallace was in interviews. I think they both are just sincere dudes.

I totally fell in love with this guy when I was a kid and saw him in freaks and geeks! I’m nearly 30 and rewatched that show and still laugh too hard when he sings to Lindsey and says that all guys just want to make out but he just wants to hold his girlfriend 😂

Omg, I love Jason! He’s just one of those folks that’s humble. He has a lot of fame and notoriety, but I think has done a great job of being past all that. I almost never want to meet a celebrity, but I’d love to meet him. Btw, I make a mean breakfast too and actually have a bacon cabinet (sadly temporary).

One of the funniest movie scenes he has done (IMO) was in “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” when he’s at a club drunk with Bill Hader. He’s talking to some girls and delivers the line, “You wanna come home?” And she laughs so he asks the other girl the same question. IDK why that’s so funny to me Lol

He lives in ojai. when I used to live near there one day my brother and I were walking down the Main Street and we turned around and what do you know Jason Segel was just walking right behind us drinking a bottle of water and smiling. We locked eyes for a moment. Great memory. Wish I would have said something to him in hindsight.
I was born and raised in the town he’s talking about and I know for a fact Jason is one of the nicest humble people who lives there now.

Idk, he wasn't very nice to me when I bumped into him during his mid day walk. I was having a serious fan episode and he was annoyed.
I live next town over, saw him eating at a now defunct restaurant some years back. All by himself, I didn't acknowledge knowing him. I think he loves the normality of the community he chose to live in.

The only time I was truly starstruck was one day 6 years ago when Jason Segal pulled up to the gas pump next to me and got some gas. I was like… “hey man, what are you doing here (in Rhode Island)?” And he was like “I’m working on some stuff” and that was it basically. I still think about it probably once a day.

I was just saying to my job co workers during a Kobe Bryant special, that Kobe loved movies. I just woke up after sleeping 10.5 hours and for some reason was in the mood to watch a Jimmy Kimmel RUclips. This is exactly what I tried to to say I felt about Kobe’s passion for movies to my co workers but obviously with out meeting Kobe Bryant.

he lives in Ojai and it really is a perfect little town. expensive and lots of BMW's but it's still a nice quiet place. Lots of celebs own houses there so it's not THAT small town.
It's turning into the newest Monticeto. Higher housing prices than other surrounding areas. Local kids won't be able to afford to stay.
